I don't think I can express accurately how much I recommend Baltimore Ghost Tours, but I will do my best. My friends and I had an absolute nightmare of a travel day from Houston and ended up in Baltimore almost 24 hours after our expected arrival time. This put us getting to Fells Point after the start of our Haunted Pub Crawl tour. Melissa was amazing in helping to accommodate us; she was truly a light in an otherwise disastrous start to our vacation. Not only did she offer to push the start time back (we were the only one's booked on the tour at the time), she also figured out how long it would take us to get from a new airport to Fells AND booked us on a tour the following day just in case. We ended up arriving about 30 minutes late (thanks to MORE airplane troubles!), and additional people had booked the tour by then, but Melissa let us know the order of the tour so we could meet Craig, our tour guide, wherever he was when we got there. The customer service was a 10/10. Now, onto the actual tour. What a blast we had!! Craig was so kind and understanding to us late arrivals. He made us feel instantly welcome and like we had been there from the start. He is one of the best storytellers I've ever heard and such a pleasure to talk to. I learned so much and have a new appreciation for the history and people in Baltimore. Craig, if you end up seeing this, thank you for completely turning our whole day around. I truly cannot recommend Baltimore Ghost Tours enough. From the ease of initial booking, to the customer service, to the amazing time we had with Craig - everything was a 10/10!!

Annie did a great job. We only walked about a block, so not too much walking. She was a great storyteller. I wish there was a way to stop outside people from jumping in, but that wasn't her fault. This is the tour group to book with!!! These are the people you want. They are a small home town company! Be careful, if you go to a different companies site and click to see thier reviews it takes you to this companies reviews. Don't book with that bigger company, book with these guys!! They are awesome. The other company is a large chain and stealing the business from this little guy and its not right. If you do these tours enough, don't do the people with the mics and lanterns...not good business people!! The other guy knows they are doing this and seem to have low level concern. I have chat screenshots with them to prove it.

The tour was cool. Some interesting haunted history of the Fells Point Baltimore area led by Spirited Nan and her husband Jeff who joined us. Both very nice and really into sharing creepy stories of the past. I must say I had an experience after the tour. I went back to one of the bar locations that was a stop on the tour. The bar that is now called “Rye” I went to the back area and had an eerie feeling. As I snapped a couple of photos I had a sudden feel of the hairs on my head stand up. Creeped me out. Maybe it happened because i was creeped out in the first place. Who knows, it happened though. The bartender later stated that the place is definitely haunted with spirits.

Overall, I think we had a good time walking/touring through Fells Point in Baltimore. I will preface this review with the comment that we were part of a very large group (100 people in four groups of 25). Understandably this could have caused some challenges for the company and the establishments who hosted us.

Each of the smaller groups had a different guide and we heard good things about the other guides. Unfortunately the guide for our group was, at times, hard to follow in the telling of stories, had to check notes in the middle of the story, and for one stop, we weren't even in the right place to hear the ghost story associated with the bar.

It also seemed like the large groups arriving at the various bars was somewhat of a surprise to the establishments... one of the locations only had one bartender on site and he seemed a bit overwhelmed. This meant long lines and since each stop was relatively quick, it meant we couldn't enjoy our drinks (or that we would have to chug it, and we didn't want to do that). Each stop felt really rushed.

In a smaller group, with a different guide, I think this would have been a super-fun and informative tour through Fells Point (or "the hook" as we did learn). Overall we really did have a good time and I think our large group created some challenges...
