Upon entering The Abbey Burger Bistro, I was a little off-put by the abrasive service. And by abrasive, I mean we felt like we were a hindrance to the employee who "greeted" us, and our mere presence was doing them a disservice. Regardless, this place started a couple of steps behind a Rock Solid endorsement. After checking out their tasty beer menu, they started to climb a little out of the hole. The service beyond the initial interaction was friendly and accommodating, which helped climb a little further, but what about the food? The fried pickles and crab tots made strides towards recommending this place a Rock Solid option. The thin, crispy pickles and crab cheese smothered tots were the bomb if I do say so myself. Since this is a burger place, after all, we had to try a burger, or four...The burger trio made it easy to partake in multiple burger varieties, as well as overeat, but we also had to try one of their signature burgers, and what the heck, more tots! (We ate family style, so no judging😋) I enjoyed everything that laid in front of me and then some. I wasn't even that hungry! Anyhow, if you're interested in eating your weight in beer, burgers, and tots, GO HERE! And yes, I wrote burgers, with an "s."

We really liked being able to build our own hot dog/ burger /chicken sandwich, and the portion was great and tasty! Definitely would recommend their special sauce for the fries if you add them to your order. Our only complaint was in regard to our allergy accommodation service - as soon as we sat down we told our server that we had a child with no peanut contact, and anything that is fried is unsafe. We reminded them 3-4x and wrote it down on her BYO paper but our kid was brought her hotdog with the house chips (fried in peanut oil) on the side. We were able to catch it before she started eating, and they replaced her food. We chose Abbey Burger for lunch because their online ordering has a great system for allergy accommodations, and we’re hoping the service would be smooth with it as well. Overall, good burgers and hope to be back soon!

I love this place. They gave a huge beer selection. 40 on draft. They have great burgers, including their exotic options, for people who like to try new meats. They're sweet potato fries are the best I can remember ever having. I have been here over a dozen times, and I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The atmosphere is nice. You can watch sports here on their TVs. It is only a block from the water and right in the middle of others great establishments. The one thing to consider is parking. Parking is difficult during the weekend nights just like in any other part of the city. This place gets busy but never overly crowded. Abbey Burger Bistro is one of the best burger places locally in my opinion. You definitely need to try them out.

It’s unfortunate that a place with delicious food and burgers that I would want to order again, is still stuck in the segregation era. My friends and I (I am white and my two friends are black) came for a late lunch around 3pm, the restaurant was relatively empty as to be expected before the dinner crowd comes in. Our one friend got there BEFORE us and was already seated, and the hostess in the front told us he was in the back seating area. This back seating area was partly closed off and if you were to walk by the place, it is not easily visible to the eye unlike the rest of the restaurant that is wide open and visible to a person walking by. We walk back to our friend and notice another table with two people of color sitting. As we are enjoying our time together, another table is seated, three people of color, in the same back seating area. Passing by empty tables in the front. The restaurant begins to fill up, groups of people are seated in the front, even with empty tables in the back seating area where my friends and I are. The common theme of the tables in the front, you guessed it, all white tables. As we were leaving, we even had a brief conversation with the other table as they noticed it as well. You could be basically blind and notice the pattern, it was that obvious. Now with it being 2024 and still having some hope in humanity, I really hope this act was not driven by race but unfortunately I do not believe that is the case here. I hope this establishment has their staff reevaluate and move forward with practices that make anyone who walks into their restaurant feel welcome. We need to hold each other accountable, learn from it, and do...

Google review here I come!!

So, I chose this place for a family meet up because they were listed last year for being the number one Burger place in Maryland according to MSN! More than half of my family love love love's a great Burger.

I called prior to arriving to see if I can make a reservatiom, they don't take reservations. I still let the manager know what time I would be coming in and with how many people just in case.

Welp, everything went perfectly. Although I didn't have a reservation we were able to seat our party of 13 immediately upstairs and had the entire upstairs to ourselves.

We were assisted by several staff members and sadly I didn't get all of their names but our main table person was Riley. Riley was so awesome. Raleigh did each and everything that they could to make sure we were satisfied and didn't want for anything and Lord knows we wanted everything.

We ordered a lot of stuff but this is what I remember. Spicy Korean Duck Burger (lettuce wrap instead of bun, add sunny side up egg) Build Your Own (Angus, Bacon, Chipotle) Crab Tots Giant Bavarian Pretzel Abbey Wings (Old Bay & Buffalo) Build Your Own (Angus Burger w Tater Tots) Side of Ceasar Salad Baltimore Burger

Each and every person that got a Burger loved it whether it was angus, duck or turkey! They were all hits! All the appetizers were delish as well !!

Needless to say, everything was perfect! Great customer service, great food, non existent wait time, and a clean environment! We had such a great time, my family members were thanking me all day for the recommendation.

This location has gained 13 new customers! Thank you Riley! We...

We ate last night at the location in Fells Point. Don't go there without a reservation if your party is more than 2 or 3. We waited for over an hour and a half in the cold. Because the interior is so small, there was no room inside for us to sit and wait. Because parking in Fells Point is a nighmarish experience, we had no choice but to wait outside. It wouldn't have been an issue except temperatures were below 60 degrees at the time. There were 2 large parties similar to our own in there that we were waiting for them to finish and leave. Despite having finished their meal and having paid, they allowed the parties to linger on for 45 minutes to an hour before we were seated.

To the people that night who just took up space after finishing your meal, you suck at being human beings. Your meal was served, your service has ended. You were the direct cause of that business losing another 8 member party besides our own last night because you couldn't think about anyone other than yourselves and leave in a timely manner. To Abbey at Fells Point, grow a pair! Once the table is served and meals are finished, 10 to 15 minutes is sufficient time to let the party linger before you let them know they need to leave because you have other guests. Letting them hang on and on is sheer cowardice.

Our server was cool. Gave us his discount for having waited so long. Food was served quickly and it was delish! We left within 10 minutes of finishing our food.... like decent...
