I never complain about service anywhere as I am a very understanding kind person and also work in food service.
I was told by an employee at this tropical smoothie location that I should get the app as I would get a free smoothie after my first purchase.
I was stoked about that and got the app and when I never received an email about my free smoothie, I went back in to this location and was told oh the free smoothie code would show up in the app. Never happened.
I went back in today to speak with the manager and she told me straight up that she couldnât do anything without a code and told me I should have gotten an email. I told her the same information I wrote about above as well as relayed where I work, we acknowledge customer frustrations and make the moment right.
Iâm very careful where I spend my money because I donât make a lot and it was really upsetting that I was straight up lied to especially after having great experiences prior.
I wonât be returning to this location or using the app going forward.

I ordered a detox island green smoothie, the new chicken chorizo quesadilla w/ chips and the green dream yogurt. I was given a chorizo wrap instead and the mixed berry greek yogurt. Once I addressed receiving the wrong food, the cashier insisted the bowl couldnât be made because they didnât have the ingredients. I asked for a refund and was told I couldnât receive a refund because the manager wasnât present, and then the cashier offered to remake the bowl correctly but I would âhave to waitâ. I declined and requested the refund again after explaining that my food item was also incorrect. The person preparing food stated she could remake it, but I declined and she snatched the wrap out of my hand.    Read moreI hate to say it this way but I shouldâve known better to order from here from the type of people who work here. I came in to pick up my smoothie and nobody was in the front. When the guy finally saw me he asked me for my name I told him Eboni. The woman who works here sheâs older with glasses came to the front she seems friendly but sheâs not good with hygiene at all. She wiped her eyes, went to the sink barely rinsed her finger tips with water and then dried with a paper towel. She didnât use soap at all. Iâm not sure if her coworker knows English or not but he took forever to find my order I started to think it wasnât ready. The woman found it in 2 seconds. I donât think Iâll return to this location unless someone from higher up reaches out and fixes this....
