The location just doesn’t have much energy. Ok. I was here on a Tuesday at noon- but both people working behind the counter seemed exhausted and not really interested in customers. Food only ok - not amazing and not so fresh you noticed. There were some door dash orders going out, but not a lot of customers- just low energy.

The food flavor and quality wasn't bad. However, the prices are pretty high. I payed $20 for a poke bowl which honestly wasn't worth it because the amount of tuna and salmon kinda small. The service was fine and atmosphere wasn't anything special. The table was just an average food court seating arrangement.

I ordered the Shrimp Tempura and Eel burrito and it was delicious. It makes me feel like I am eating extra large sushi and I wish that was the case at every sushi place I went to. My only desire is that this place should serve something Philadelphia style, so I can get my sushi with cream cheese fix on.

The prices at this sushi location are pretty expensive already but I was willing to pay them in hopes that the quality would be good. i’m writing this review before I have even had a chance to eat the food based on service alone. The wait was about 20 minutes for 2 sushi rolls which i felt like was on the longer side. As I walked outside i tripped and my sushi roll fell. I immediately came back in with the roll and a picture of it on the ground and asked if there was anyway they could remake it for me. They said they could remake it but charged me another 13 dollars for a shrimp tempura roll. I felt like their communication was poor and their service was subpar. I then had to wait another 20 minutes for a new roll. I understand that businesses are busy but I think that their lack of graciousness is very disappointing and I will definitely not be back. There are certainly better sushi spots & better spots and businesses within the r house food market to spend...

I've patronized Hilo since they first opened and the food has always been good - but often quite inconsistent. I gave up on the pre-determined poké options because the inclusions always deviated (in different ways each time) from what was posted on the menu board. I switched to the build-your-own and it's been good. Recommend checking your order before you leave (save your receipt) because about half of the time if I've ordered and extra sauce it's not included, and then they insist on trying to charge me for it and I have to show my receipt to prove that I already had, and it's printed on the ticket too. They lose their stars for me because of the rolled sushi - it started out with big fancy multi-sauced and topped rolls, and lately it's eliminated some of the toppings (although they're often still listed on the menu) and the rice has been a...

Very good when it’s good!

Huuuuge bummer when it’s bad. I ordered the rainbow bowl, which is supposed to have: Tuna, salmon, Snapper or Hamachi, eel, shrimp, avocado, masago, cucumer, red onion, kaiware sprouts, shiso leaf, crunchy tempura flakes. Sauce: Classic Hawaiian soy sauce.

It was missing snapper/hamachi, eel, shrimp, avocado, and crunchy tempura flakes. So I’m assuming I got someone else’s bowl because ALL the good stuff was missing. There are mistakes, there are shortages, but that was like half the stuff missing and I wouldn’t have gotten it if I had known.

I emailed them through their website about this on Tuesday and didn’t hear back about replacing this bummer of a bowl, so I guess I’m out $17 and...
