Absolutely disgusting service. Food was poorly presented, tasted bland and lacked real seasonings or authentic latin american flavors. Furthermore my actual order was completely destroyed, I ordered Salsa roja and instead they added generous helpings of some random creamy white sauce; they also gave me a container of the same sauce with a green tinge which tasted bitter for some reason. The cheese was basically liquid when they served it to me and blended with the strange sauce. On top of this they also completely forgot my chips and when I called them about the issue the person on the phone said "I dont speak spanish" and instantly hung up on me before I could tell him I spoke english as well. I called them back and a lady answered this time, said"wait for our manager" and hung up instantly as well. I was not able to even communicate to these subhumans before they hung up on me. After this they stopped responding completely. The food is also grotesquely overpriced. Terrible restaurant, they used to be good but I am not sure what happened to them; I ate there in 2020 and this was not what I remembered. DO NOT...

I want to like Amano Taco. I really do. I want to like them so much that I've tried them on three separate occasions, with time apart. They're in the neighborhood, close to my house, and the pricing is alright. I want to like these tacos.

I don't. I think that they are mediocre at best. My most recent experience I got the chicken, pork, and chorizo tacos and an extra side of chips. The pork was bland. The pickled onions we're good, but it lacked balance. It was just BAM, here's a hunk of bland pork and a LOT of onions. The pork was similar, with the slaw overwhelming the meat, which lacked flavor. The chorizo was one note - spicy, with no depth of flavor at all. The chips were okay.

I want to like you, but I'm saving my money, Amano Taco. This actually pains me to say, but I can find a Taco Bell and get a product that actually tastes better for significantly cheaper. For a similar price I can saunter over to Clavel and get tacos that blow my mind, every. Single. Time. I recommend that you do the same if you're...

Feeling a little conflicted leaving a 1 as a review for Amano Taco. I’ve eaten here several occasions and enjoyed their delicious tacos and street corn. Unfortunately I did not experience that same deliciousness when I ordered street corn a couple of days ago. The street corn was barely warm when I bit into it. I took back that corn to get another one but the new corn was barely warm also. This time around the corn was mushy and stuck to my teeth when I took a bite.

I know the staff person felt the corn as he wrapped it in foil but he gave it to me anyway. Perhaps because it was late in the evening and they were cleaning up or maybe the staffer did not think serving hot corn was necessary. Either way, it was unacceptable. I will give Amano another chance only because I’ve have better from them. I really want to give Amano a...

It's disturbing that this is one of the better places in R. House. My first time eating Amano was at an event and the chips and guac were so odd I couldn't even be made to eat them for free. I wanted to give it another try but my veggie burrito had a hunk of beef in it, every other ingredient lacked flavor, the mild sauce tasted like plain canned diced tomatoes, and the guacamole had almost no citrus and was made from avocados that had gone bad. Expensive for what it was and waste of calories.

Edit: No more shrimp options on the delivery apps. Can't order from here anymore. The tacos are pretty good! I have only ever had them delivered. I've never been to the restaurant. I just wish they were open a little later. But I suppose that's unfair to ask. I wouldn't wanna work past ten either. The pictured tacos are rice and beans, shrimp, and veggie (got two shrimp since those are my favorite). I appreciate that there are a few options for non-meat-eaters.
