Dunham's Sports — Local services in Bangor Township

Seems like everytime i visit this store there is some kind of issue with the computer system, and we end up waiting behind a long line or having issues ourselves upin checkout, which isn't the employees fault but just a suggestion perhaps updating the system and making it easier for them to navigate? Today my friends and I came by to purchase over $100 in ammo. While she struggled with the slow and frustratingly complicated computer system, this cashier seemed super disgruntled before even getting to the register. My husband made some lame dad jokes to try and break the tension but just got a few eyerolls in response. I was behind my friends in line while the cashier tried figuring out the issue at the register. I was standing in front of the entrance area for another employee to stand at his register. He came up behind me and pushed his way into the area, almost knocking my purse off my shoulder. I didn't see him coming and he didn't even bother to say literally ANYTHING (ie. "Behind ya" or "excuse me") Our cashier was still struggling with her register and asked this same guy for assistance. He looked at her screen and said nothing, just turned around. Again, my husband made a joke, saying, "thanks for all the help." Which did manage to make our cashier crack a smile. I am mainly writing this in hopes that someone is able to do something about whatever register system this store has because, literally every single time I go in, it is an issue. And who knows, maybe that's why all of the employees were rude. I will say there was an older employee that came by while we were shopping and offered to help us find what we needed. This place is amazing. Lots of products, fair prices and good service. Only issue is the trick they place in store sign advertising prices near similar or different products confusing the prices. I have complained due to thinking I have the correct product and correct ad price when it is the other models or colors or whatever tiny difference is. I didn't try to buy socks deal when sign said shoe deal, but I have watched other customers leave the line to try and correct what price they thought the sign ad says. I have left the line cause I was so sure of myself but one word off and no deal. Shoe prices are much cheaper than I expected for name brands and styles, very impressive to me. Many deals, just gotta make sure you have correct product. I ask someone to be sure, workers always answered my questions. Good service I think. Went to purchase my first hunting rifle. After being ignored for 20 minutes. I apparently put them out for asking questions about shot gun ammo. They clearly judged me before even talking to me. I was asked 3x if it was for me which I replied yes. I’m well aware it’s illegal to purchase for others. I was then told “ you aren’t allowed to buy gins for your husband “. Ummm I’m not married.
