Whether you’re a novice to e-biking, or an e-bike enthusiast such as myself; I HIGHLY recommend stopping by their shop located in downtown Batavia, IL! Here’s why: (1of 3) They’re NOT THIRSTY for your money! Find out for yourself. Go into their shop, browse around, consult with them, and you’ll see what I mean. You will quickly sense that they’re more concerned about you (the customer) being happy with your purchase! This brings me to my second point (2 of 3) They’re sincere! In the midst of browsing, thinking out loud, and exchanging dialog with Steve (Boj-E-Bikes owner) and Kevin (employee and brother of owner); they provide feedback that’s informative and practical. For instance, things such as the following: (A) Does the e-bike of choice suit your living conditions (i.e. 2nd floor apartment vs a home with a garage) …you may not want to haul a standard e-bike up and down stairs to your apartment, but a foldable might be best in that scenario. Also, storing a foldable e-bike in your apartment or balcony storage takes up less space than a standard e-bike (B) Does the e-bike of choice suit your lifestyle (i.e. ride leisurely/regularly/trails/commuting/rugged terrain/snow/fast/slow/thrill seeker/trailer/does your vehicle have a hitch/inside vehicle space, and etcetera). And lastly, (3 of 3) they provide in-shop maintenance, the e-bikes have warrantees, you may test out an e-bike, you may rent an e-bike, they’re located off of the Fox River which runs along a bike path to go on test rides, either Steve, Kevin, or they’re dad will ride alongside you during a test ride, they sell accessories and other e-bike/standard bike items. OMG. What is the experience with BOJ-E-BIKES. I truly thought that great customer service was dead, until I met the owner of Boje bikes. The owner Stephen is phenomenal. He’s so good with customer service he’s a natural. He answered all my questions I enjoyed the conversation no hurry no rushing no hurry up and bye a bike. Not like a car salesman hurry up get it done here it is the financing department. Nothing like that I felt like I was talking to a family member. The whole entire experience was wonderful. The other people that were working with Steven or just as nice as him they must’ve fallen off the same tree. I would recommend Boje bikes to anyone that is interested in buying an electric bike it’s the up-and-coming thing and they’re a lot of fun I actually bought four of them and the service is great anything I needed a loose boulder loose screw low battery they took care of everything it’s been a pleasure doing business with such a young man he’s got a good head on your shoulders he will go far in his business we just got to keep him rolling on the bikes. My wife and I started camping a few years back and decided it was time to get a couple E-Bikes to get us around the grounds and some basic trails. Thanks to a recommendation on our town's Facebook page, we decided it was worth the 3 hour round trip to see Steve and his crew.

I called Steve up and said that we would be coming in but it might be a week or so, since it was a bit of a hike. Even though he had ZERO guarantee we'd be coming in, he spent a good amount of time explaining options in depth. There was ZERO pressure.

We finally made it down there and from the moment we walked in, my wife and I were treated like their best, long-term customers. They pulled out several bikes for us to test ride and again, no pressure at all. All questions were answered with great detail.

We purchased the bikes and about a week later, they arrived and they had them assembled and tested when I went down to pick them up. They helped me load them up and made sure we had everything we needed before I left.
