East China Inn — Restaurant in Batavia Township

Worst people ever In the Randal location. The man serving us was extremely rude and unwilling to accommodate my dietary issues. He keep telling me he can’t help me because it can’t be rang up in the computer how I asked for it. I said I would pay extra. He kept arguing with me and telling me no he can’t because of the computer. I guess the computer is the cook! What happened to the customer being number one and not to argue with them. I got mad and my party of 8 left the restaurant. The man just kept talk bad to us on the way out. Beyond rude I can’t express it enough. This was the second issue with them. First time was on a pickup order. They messed up the order and blamed it on us for not knowing how to order. We knew what we ordered but they yelled at us and won’t fix it. So much for giving them a second chance. So sad I hope the one in warrenville is not the same owner or else they will loose my business too. If you are looking for a best experience and food go to silver lake Chinese restaurant they treat you nice.

I tried to reach out the the owner on Facebook messager and never got a response. I guess they don’t care about their business...

I've been frequenting East China Inn(all 3 locations and the previous Wilson St location) since the mid/early 90's. The food's always been excellent, the service great. In all of these years I can't say that I've ever left unsatisfied, and I can't ever remember a wrong order in all that time. The Mongolian Beef is one of my favorite dishes of any restaurant anywhere. The Kung Pao Chicken is also excellent. The Lo Mein and Wonton Soup are both head and shoulders better than any other establishment outside of Chinatown that I've had. Despite having to drive half an hour to get there now, I will remain a loyal customer for years to come. Keep up...

I apparently ordered through a 3rd party app which didn't say it was a 3rd party. I asked for specific items. I didn't receive my specific items per the 3rd party...I called qnd the manager instead of apologizing and trying to correct the order he argued with me on it being a 3rd party and that I didn't pay and told me to be quiet..I was to have free egg rolls per order over 20 dollarsand I got charged for them as well. He was rude unapologetic and didn't even try to correct the issues...I'm at work and starving and extremely upset. Not good customer service at all. And I've ordered here before and always had a great...
