The criminal justice system in Louisiana is the worst I've observed in the nation. Although, there are some great judges on the bench, such as, Hon. Judge William Jordan, Judge Donald Johnson (Chief Judge), Judge Gail Ray (irrespective of recent attacks), Judge Ronald Johnson, Judge Beau Higginbotham and Judge Fred Crifasi; desperate is reform. Due to other priority commitments, I have not been able to obtain much information on other judges currently on the bench. I can say that Hon. Judge Tiffany L. Foxworh-Roberts should have a revoked license. Hon. Judge Collette Greggs has been moving in wrong direction. Hon. Judge Wilson Fields is brother of Cleo Fields (former Louisiana Senator and U.S. Representative which I am not impressed with his representation). Hon. Judge Richard Moore should have been assigned to civil division due to relationship with Hillar Moore (District Attorney). In the past few years, the 19th J. D. C. has retired some of the best judges serving on the bench; such as Hon. Judge Louis R. Daniel (although he can be harsh at times), Judge Trudy White and Judge Bonnie Jackson. There is a need for an overhaul of the structure. I blame the voters for not holding those people accountable and electing those based upon politically motivated agendas, as opposed to those committed to unbiased decisions as well as upholding the laws. In the 19th J.D.C. both the criminal and civil sectors are plagued with perjury by law enforcement, bias rulings from judges, violations of prisoners rights, delayed trials, forced or duress criminal pleas negotiated by assistant public defenders, racism among many court officials, prejudice, attorney misrepresentations, abuse of process, unpreparedness, prosecutorial misconduct, unprofessionalism, arrogance and a host of other violations of the Constitutions. These court officials have immunity in such manner that allows them to engage in this acts without much recourse. There is the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana for filing complaints against any judge if they have been unprofessional, bias, prejudice, engaged in misconduct or some other act within their jurisdiction. You must have all detailed facts along with evidence. Now is the time to hold those whom you are elected to be accountable for their actions. You could be the next person before these...
Read moreNever experienced such a smooth swift and civilized court experience as today, thank you Judge/Commissioner Kimble, although it was Not to my first time in Baton Rouge courtrooms, It was my first time seeing what and how it looks when a real judge handles a courtroom, What I saw today was the utmost professional and down to business kind of effort I've ever seen from a judge in my town No offense to anyone but just giving this lady some props, It was nice to see what a real professional looks like, You know in Louisiana we got our own ways of acting Twilight zone style, and they're not always professional! Just more Baton Rouge and how it rolls, nonetheless for what it's worth I saw a real professional today and way to go Queen Kimble! You deserve Your title and you obviously wear it with utmost respect! I admire respect and feel proud of you! for...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting behavior. The women I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily short. Then when I called back to confirm what she told me with another agent, I was transferred back to her which she then proceeded to berate me for saying she was rude and question me disrespectful manner as if I was making it up just to spite her! Saying I told her supervisor she was rude and I never even knew I spoke with her supervisor! Saying she did me a favor but was acting disgusting the entire time. Then on top of all that she hung up in my face and wouldn't let me even speak. I had to call a 3rd time to finally get someone to confirm everything was okay! Horrible. No one had ever been so unnecessarily rude before. And no one deserves to be treated so horribly for nothing. Worst is the information to file a complaint isn't available on...
