I went there with my daughters and their 2 and 3 month old sons that were in strollers. From the time we walked in the waitress seemed to have an attitude toward us. She didn’t seat us right away and when I requested a table because bench seats hurt my back, she started fussing the strollers would be in the path way which would be against fire code, when all we had to do was just move two chairs then we could push the strollers up to the table that didn’t stick out as far as the chairs did. That remark seemed to make her furious. She asked us after sitting there for over 15 mins or longer if we were ready to order and with attitude. We weren’t even asked about our drinks yet. Then after we ordered our pizza which was only pepperoni and Italian sausage, she even asked if I wanted spicy or mild Italian, then when she returned with the pizza she just dropped it on the rack and walked away without asking if we needed anything. The pizza was only pepperoni I had to stop another waitress to let her know my order was wrong, that waitress picked the pizza up and put it on counter by cook, then our waitress went over to the cook and he told her he had her back, then the cook started putting sausage on the same pizza and put it back in the oven. She returned with the now burnt pizza did the same thing just dropped in rack and walked away. We got up to leave and she went behind the bar and told me if I would have told her what the problem was she would have fixed it and when I went to respond she started yelling at me, I asked for the manager and when I was trying to explain to him she started talking above me. I told her if she would allow me to finish without trying to yell at me, she told me it’s called using your voice not yelling. Then walked away yelling bye ladies. The manager did nothing to stop her and said all he could do was apologize for her behavior and he also agreed he wouldn’t eat that pizza because it was burnt. When he would try talking to us she would walk back over saying rude things. I have never experienced that kind of behavior in my life. We just walked out that was insulting and very unprofessional. Their pizza is usually good but not worth that kind of experience. I would have given it no stars but it makes you give...
Read moreOverall it was ok.
We walked in and immediately noticed the place is in desperate need of alot of updating, repair and organization. I almost walked out but since it was recommended to us figured it would be worth giving it a shot.. There was stuff everywhere out in the open and it is not a well kept, organized place. The bar person greeted us and said we can sit anywhere. There are a few tables downstairs and we sat at the one we found was the cleanest. We did not go upstairs. The table we sat at, was actually two tables pushed together to form a comfortable four person table. Because of the footing at the bottom of the two tables, the table tops were not able to join together which made it interesting but doable when the food came out since there was a decent size gap between the two tables. The waitress came right over, gave us menus and took our drink order. When she came back with the drinks, she took our order, nachos and an 18 meat pizza. Not long after the order was taken, the nachos came out then the pizza. The nachos were very good. The picture was an after thought but there were lots of chips and toppings. The pizza was very greasy and very thin. It was good but would have been better if it was not so greasy.
I did not have to visit the restroom during this visit (very lucky for me!) but I was just thinking how bad would that have been if the resturant looks the way it does? Makes one wonder...
I attached pictures of the pizza, nachos and the floor. I did not unfortunately get a picture of when you walk into the establishment. :(
You would think that the owner, manager or someone would want to do something about the cleanliness of their business.
Overall, I am giving it a 3 of 5 stars because of the atmosphere and because of the amount of grease...
Read moreI enjoy the pizza. There are options to have the ready -to-go pizza or made to order. In downtown area so that's a plus for location. Open late for those exiting bars late and surrounding establishments. Prices are pretty reasonable in general terms. This place would be a lot better if had an upbeat vibe. This Southern tone and current day has drained a lot of people with crime, politics, inflation and so many other distractions it's hard to even crack a smile these days. Also, I tried the loaded nachos. I prefer the creamy melted cheeses with lots of beef! On 4/03/2025 approximately 20:00 I visited this location only to obtain change for a (5) five dollar bill because was riding CATS bus. Went to the restaurant and was addressed with W/F. The W/F referred the issue to B/F cashier, from my understanding only one having key. I observed the B/F having an attitude expression on face. The B/F appear reluctant to provide change for (5) five dollar bill by just holding it in her hand. I notified W/F that cashier appear reluctant to provide change. The W/F stated she is only person with key. The B/F stated "I don't like your language" referring to song being quoted by myself from phone speaker. I advised B/F she was in violation of my first amendment rights then stated "if you not going to provide change then give money back". The cashier reached the five dollar bill back to me holding it tightly in her hand. I snatched the five dollar bill out of her hand on two occasions which could have torn the bill then exited the location with no intentions of returning to the restaurant. What restaurant owners do not realize is that customers offer support of their business out of convenience or respect; there is no marriage or desperation in attending...
