Really poor customer service, there were 6 people in line waiting to pay, when I asked about the possibility of opening another register Armando the person in the picture reacted aggressively. Another customer stepped on due this situation and although she was a lady Armando also disrespect her. "Do whatever you want" were his final words.

The Baytown store returned an item for a lesser amount than what it was listed on the shelf. Just because they failed to email me the receipt from my purchase just yesterday. The picture shows the purchase price was $4.39 and the credit they gave was only $2.15.

Friendly service and clean, but their priceing is a little high. Dont see how they sale so much with walmart being across the street. Other than the priceing. Its a great store.

Ive always loved both the Depots! Though Im not sure whether they are linked or not they still fulfill both sides of mešŸ˜‰. The only reason I did not give him a 5 is because of the selection the prices were Fair could have been better but what do you expect the staff was great they did not follow me around and harass me the news just about the right time to ask me if I needed help with anything and did their best to help me when I did(I'm a frugal endurance type shopper & I inspect every detail of whatever I'm in the market for). I seem to make Loss prevention nervous because of my hovering in one area or constantly returning to the area of where I'm undecided about what to or if I should purchase the item or not. Nonethless, office depot is very patient with hour to 3 hour excursion and I generally leave feeling satisfied and confident with my purchases. EXCEPT this last timešŸ˜žthe location im referring to is the store in Baytown Texas on Garth Road everything went fine just as normal like any other time except for when I went to check out the young man that was checking me out was very polite and was not rude to me at all he did his job very well with the exception he doesn't listen so well and he tastes the floor while I updated my email and I asked him ready to go home huh he said yes yes yes he was so eager to leave work that he forgot to print and email my receipt plus he charged me for the paper and when I went to get the paper he was charging me again for it I told him no it was already on the ticket, he said okay and proceeded to bag it up and send me on my way he also didn't ask me about extended warranty or insurance for my electronic items Granite it's my responsibility to remember these things but I felt rushed and like I was bothering him I took my things out of the car spoke to my dad just had to go back in the store and purchase one of the items I bought for myself, for my dad. When I walked in I could literally hear him shy and said something under his right breath I turned to him and assured him that I would not hold him past his schedule off time and I am true to my promise I just turned around and walked out. it was probably an isolated incident but it happened just the same just wanted y'all to know that error still happens because humans still work and to err is human lol I guess we need to be thankful that we still have jobs well that's a wrap. Now get up and go to the Depot's & have fun. MERRY...

I have dealt with the person who works in the printing area and a manager on two different occasions due to errors they made in the printing department. Both times I left more confused and felt the entire conversation was a waste of my time. As a customer you should not be hassled or questioned like it’s an interrogation. I was basically accused of lying about a printing error Office Depot made. I was told to bring the documents to the store to prove to them there was an error before they could reprint them. This is per store policy but when I asked to see the policy the manager told me she couldn’t show me because it’s in the employee handbook. Huh? Now customers have to abide by employee rules and policies, but yet when asked they can not share the policies with you. The manager told me they have customers sign their name by the ā€œ no refundā€ stamp when they place a print order. I was confused about why I was being told that when the error was on their part and not mine. When I asked if they inspect the items after they are printed I was told ā€œno, we don’t have time to do that. It’s the customers job to make sure things are printed correctly.ā€ It’s the customers job and I also have to know the rules in the employee handbook? Why do you even have anyone working there if they are not there to help the customers? I was not asking for a reprint of several hundred pages. I was simply asking for two pages ($3 total price) to be printed in advance due to their printing error made in their printing center. I will be looking for another business to support where customers are treated with respect and not interrogated or accused of lying. It’s too difficult to have printing errors corrected that are made by the staff at Office Depot. When you sign your name by the ā€œno refundā€ stamp just know they will not refund you even if they make an error! There are better ways to approach this type of situation. Last time there was an error I ended up calling the corporate office because I was not able to have anything resolved at the store even though the error was...

I bought a laptop from them online as a birthday gift and picked it up in the store. Imagine my surprise when 2 days after gifting it , I'm told that the laptop will not power on!! They charged it for hours, thinking that maybe it just didn't have any battery life, but nothing would make it turn on. So I took it back to the location I picked it up at. They could not get it to turn on either and tried to exchange it with a different brand/spec of laptop that they had available in the store. (Nothing even close to the amount of memory the one I bought had). I declined and was adamant that I wanted the laptop I had purchased. They didn't have it at that store and they don't have a way to ship products between stores. They told me that someone from the store would have to go and get it from another store but it was basically an inconvenience for them to do so, so I would have to go and get it exchanged at the other store myself!!! So I ask them to call the other store just to make sure it's in stock and that I won't have any issues with the exchange when I get there. The store manager makes the call and I can hear her say as she's walking away that this is the 2nd problem they've had just this week like this! (I assume with laptops not working) When she gets off the phone I'm told that I'm all set to go pick it up, but I cannot exchange the item. I would have to return the purchase and re-purchase the laptop that I wanted. The total was a little more than $600, so I'd either have to wait until the return cleared my account and go back again to purchase it or find another way to pay for the new one. I chose to return the item and shop for a laptop elsewhere. This company has ridiculous policies and it's employees have no regard for your time or inconvenience when purchasing a product that should have zero problems straight out of the box! That alone is enough to make me never want to shop...
