Took my phone in for screen replacement $303.00 -Done, perfect BUT. Surprise # 1: when I picked my phone I was told the front camera is not working and to bring it back in a week.
Surprise # 2: after leaving the store and making first call found face sensor is not working. Took me a while to figure that out as the phone kept doing things while I'm on the phone. My face is touching the screen that should have went off.
Surprise # 3: Later I found that my mic is not working while on speaker mode after deciding that face sensor is not working,
Surprise #4: Called the store and explained the other issues, and I was told that those things were working and the phone was checked prior to giving it back to me.
After a bunch of arguing with their attitude, I decided to just live with my front camera broken, of course they fixed the other issues with a major attitude. The SHOCK came when the customer service rep called and just went explaining that it is not their fault that the camera is not working and I should consider a new phone as the mother board will cost more than a new phone. Now, I know this is not the best place to do business with.
This has been a very upsetting ordeal and I WILL NOT TAKE MY BUSINESS THERE PERIOD.
12/10/2020 After owner reply. A refund was not offered. You are totally missing the point. You can do the refund anytime, I did not refuse that AT ALL. In fact, I asked for a refund. The employee I spoke with offered a removal of the new screen in exchange for reversing my charge after the list of the surprises I listed above. Needless to say, my position at that point is " I do not want you to touch my phone at all. So the statement that a refund was offered is completely false. I want a refund, go for for it. and I will reverse my review in exchange.
So, in service business, you have no choice but to be fully transparent and crisp clear as consumers are much more informed. ...

I have literally saved hundreds taking my devices here, and here is why. (First savings)- I had first took my labtop down to Geek squad and explained the problem I was having with it. I was told to just perchase a new laptop, and that it would be pointless to even take a look at. That was thier solution to my problem. To spend a couple of hundred dollars on a new unit and my photos and documents on the trash labtop would be lost forever, Wow! So, I took it down to UBREAKIFIX, to get thier opinion. They troubleshoot free of charge, so I dropped it off and 1 day later... For less then $60 they had it up and running with all photos and documents still on the hardrive. Talk about awesome!! (Second savings) About a year ago, I had a cluster off a four wheeler that would not display any info do to mud and water. The cost for a new one- $400, and refurbished ones on ebay and Amazon (average- $250). I couldn't see myself spending that much, so I dropped it off at Ubreakifix to see if they could help. I was told that there was no guaranty that they could get it working because it was pretty much just a circuit board with no diagrams or info available on the net or from the company that makes them. Well, I got a call the same day telling me that they repaired some resistors and part of the circuit board that had fried. They told me to take it home and install it, and if it worked, to have a nice day and it was great doing business with me. I asked- No charge, even if it works? Thier reply, "No charge"!!:). Talk about feeling great! I still have the four wheeler, and the cluster is still working just fine. This is the best place you can take your electronics to, no doubt. :) Keep up the great customer...
   Read moreI went in to replace the screen of my iPhone X, they got it done, great customer service and I left happy. Then I realized my screen was popping off, went back and got it fixed. After a few days later, my screen stopped working. Went back and they gave me a new screen, I was pleased, but one of the workers accidentally dropped my phone and broke the back of the phone, he apologized and fixed it once the part came in. Then, after making a phone call I realized that my microphone wasn't working, I left it alone for a few days because it would randomly work and I could always just use my earphones to make a phone call, and also I couldn't keep leaving work early to get my phone fixed. Shortly after my screen started messing up again, I tried pressing down on it, I thought that maybe the screen was popping off again. Well that ended up in leaving a green line on the screen and that really irritated me. I went back to the store one last time to ask for a refund, well .... a customer leaving ubreakifix ended up backing up into me. Whatever, it obviously wasn't the stores fault. I go in, tell the store manager what happened and she said she couldn't refund me anything because my phone had passed the diagnostics report when I left the store that last time, and that they had already put in a lot of money towards my phone ( wasn't my fault). She was very polite, offered to run another test on my phone. I just ended up buying a new phone, I was really disappointed...
