This place is full of laziness and bad attitudes... Not saying they're all useless but I will say the majority of them are - to include the assistant manager ZACHARY KAGLE. I went there to pick up something for some friends of ours. Our friend had bought a tool chest for her husbands Christmas present and needed my truck and trailer so he wouldn't find out what his gift was. She went to the customer service desk to pick up the purchase and was told they would have someone load it in the loading zone. Well that didn't happen. She ended up loading it onto the trailer herself. I was checking out so I wasn't outside when she loaded this 200lb plus tool chest on her own. When i walked out i was asked for my receipt - showed it to em and no worries. Kuddos for checking the reciept ma'am - I'm sure your boss will like that part of the story. Then I get outside to find out that our friend loaded this tool chest all by herself. So I asked to have the store manager meet me at my truck while I tied down the tool chest. Then comes out asst mgr ZACHARY KAGLE. Told him the situation and his response was we are a high risk store - I could care less about the hi risk store buddy. I told him y'all are lazy. I got upset and made it clear I was done with him since his argument was "did she ask for help" - really man? Should she have to? He was useless and told me to get out "his" store... calling him lazy hurt his feelings. I would of been long gone buddy had y'all not been so useless. This place is a joke in my opinion and is being "managed" as a joke. The night before I went to Hill Lumber in Mont Belvieu and bought some items and told em I would be right back for my case of water... the owner met me at my truck with my case of water. Hill Lumber was probably busier than Home Depot was too. Amazing. I wonder why a hometown lumber yard is busier than a big box store... maybe it falls back on not being lazy and quality customer service. I don't shop at HD because this store has always lacked customer service... so its no skin...
Read moreI go to home depot all over the Houston area and the company I work spends more money there than most of the employees probably make and I had the worst customer service I have ever received at the Baytown location this morning. The sent me to the opposite side of the store for a pro counter check out to the customer service booth where no customer service was found because despite being 845 am they were already on an hour long break apparently. I arrived first and stood in a location where my purchases would not be in the way as they were large pieces of wood and a line formed behind me. The ladies at the desk refused to make eye contact with me or acknowledge I was there until I said I was sent there for a phone sale. They angrily told me it would a few minutes and started taking phone calls until they angrily told me to take my things and stand in the correct line which o was then in the back of after gathering my purchases and moving. When I didn't want to move my items they said i could could go wait for the other guy to get back from break if i didnt like it. Time is money and they wastes a bunch of mine with horrible attitudes which is a horrible combination. I will drive the extra mile to avoid this location at all costs...
Read moreVisit this location because in the only one in town & always get what I need from this location but time they outdid themselves “COSTUMER SERVICE” came into get a exterior door handle set “door knob with deadlock” took about 15 minutes to figure out the right one to choose the Mr Blake helped me find the matching ones for my other exterior doors but as usual we have purchase the item before rekeying so I waited 30+ minutes to get through the line for reinforcements to relieve the 20+ customers so when it was time to ring me out & get a manager after I explain the process to the actual THD cashier which they should already be trained on the matter they could not locate the manager or someone with training to help me get what I came in for by this time is been 45 plus minutes they informed me that they were at lunch & it was impossible to take care of the matter even tho I have been a customer time time & again on multiple house & projects spending hundreds even thousands of $ that I even possess THD credit cards & sent me on my way pretty much an hour + that will never get back of my time off from work. Geez Louise!!! Just a number is how we get treated thank but no thanks, let’s see what MCoys can do for now on or...
