I'm a very detailed-oriented person who usually prefers to take care of things myself — so that I know they're done correctly. However, I felt TOTALLY comfortable leaving the ALL the details of my gown to Fyodor and Marina of Fyodor Atelier Bridal! They made my dress PERFECTLY and the whole experience of getting my gown 100% enjoyable. Their attention to detail and warm demeanor will put you at ease ... right away you'll know you have two allies when the Big Day approaches! I am SO glad I found them, and highly recommend them to all brides, in Cleveland and everywhere else! Before finding them, I had tried Leonardo's, Dora's, several shops in Rocky River, Perfect Bride, tons of online sites, David's Bridal, and Demetrios. I also traveled to Los Angeles and shopped at half a dozen bridal shops there. In fact, almost out of desperation, I nearly bought a gown from L'ezu Atelier. (They have gorgeous stuff.) However, I wasn't perfectly happy with that gown or any of the mostly polyester dresses I was trying on at the shops in Cleveland! At one point, I even cried over the issue ... though (in the big scheme of things) I knew I shouldn't be getting that frustrated over what's basically "just" a dress. Then I found Fyodor online. At first I was intimidated, assuming that they might be a bit out of my price range. I'm so glad I got over that! While my dress was expensive, the price was perfectly reasonable (and I'm a fairly frugal person) and my dress ended up being a BREATHTAKING gown make of breathable, elegant SILK ... the kind that blows a groom away. :) In conclusion: No matter where you live, but especially if you live near Cleveland, go to Fyodor. Every bride should want Fyodor and Marina behind their design! My dream wedding took place on Anna Maria Island in Florida and my dream wedding dress was found right in my backyard in Beachwood, OH. For months I had been to every wedding boutique, store, show I could drive too! My next move was to fly to new york or chicago b/c I began to feel like my vision couldn't be captured by any local wedding boutique. The day I decided to make an appointment with Marina changed my entire thought process....I had found a designer who was extremely talented, used only the best fabric from Italy, and was so attentive to detail I couldn't believe I hadn't come across them earlier! Fyodor not only designs unbelievable gowns he helps guide you to find the dress that fits your body perfectly and accentuates your best features. I found a dress I was in love with and he worked with the design to tweak all my little requests. From appointments to finalizing and the last dress fitting, Fyodor and Marina were first class! My guests were blown away when I walked down the aisle and my husband couldn't hold back...the dress was what I wanted too...one of a kind! I told all my girlfriends about Fyodor and they cannot wait to get married and work with Fyodor. I truly believe he is one the best designers in the wedding industry and as any bride knows you flip through thousands of magazines, internet sites, tag designers you dream of....none of them came close to what I got with Fyodor! Fyodor and marina were a life savor when I came running to them with ideas for my wedding gown that could not be found in any bridal store . I showed them pictures upon pictures of what I wanted my dress to look like and although some of the ideas were unrealistic , and the models wearing these dresses were size -0, Fyodor and Marina strategized ways to get the same look for my body type and encouraged me to look at other options because I am not a size 0 like these models . It was a long process because I am very very picky , but they listened to every idea I had and either agreed that it would work, or they would steer me away from the idea with their years of experience and problems they have faced in the past . I trusted them because I have seen the beautiful masterpieces that they create every day, with the most beautiful materials I have ever seen. My dress turned out to be exactly what I envisioned, so beautiful but also so light and comfortable. I couldn't live without the "plunging deep V " but with double D breasts , and no way to hold them up without a bra, I started to get discouraged that I would not be able to wear this kind of dress . Marina had a brilliant idea to sew lace onto my bra in the same pattern as my dress and it was perfect . They were very kind, caring, knowledgeable, and understanding through the whole process. I really enjoyed every meeting that we had throughout the dressmaking process and talking not only about the dress, but life in general.
