Racially profiled as a full line Nordstrom employee! Lauren N. racially profiled me while I was shopping at this rack location and didnât believe I was a Nordstrom employee when I tried to use my discount. She took several steps (asked for my ID), even so far as calling the store I worked at to verify I was an employee before I could finish my purchase. Working at the Full Line Nordstrom store I know the exact measures to take when it comes to accepting employee discounts, and the steps she took were absurd. If youâre of color and care about where your dollar is going then I wouldnât choose this location. The fact that no consequences are being held against this woman just shows that Nordstrom doesnât stand behind what they claim to âbelieve inâ. I called the store back and asked a different employee about the steps they take for employee discounts and she goes on to say theyâve never had to call a store that an employee works at or have asked for an ID (which I already know)..smh. The woman who profiled me was surprisingly one of the managers. If you donât stand for something you will fall for anything. Sad to say Nordstrom lost a loyal employee...
Read moreI havenât been to a Nordstrom rack in quite a long time. I forgot that they also carry some home goods. So I did enjoy browsing that section.
I came specifically to look for a couple cocktail dresses for an upcoming anniversary trip to Vegas. I was surprised they didnât have a bigger selection of skimpy, fun dresses. Lol. But I managed to find two. Both were your basic fitted mini dress. One was even on clearance for only $12.
I was also keeping my eyes open for an evening gown for a formal dinner we have next month. But I only saw one that was remotely interesting and it was over the top with a price tag to go along with it (almost $300).
They also had a decent collection of lounge wear.
But I had more success with active wear. I found a super cool wind breaker for $20. Not bad.
At the register I signed up for Nordstrom rewards. I guess I earn points now when I give them my phone number. So thatâs cool. Iâm sure...
Read moreI shop here occasionally. I called to see if they had menâs sunglasses and so I stopped by. Iâm trying on a few pairs and one I liked had the bulky side of the security tag on the inside which made the sunglasses sit incorrectly. A worker was passing me and I asked if she could flip it correctly or take it off so I can see how they sit on my face. She was very rude. I gave her my sunglasses and was trying to tell her what I needed but she just kept walking and never stopped telling me to hold on. I have never been treated this way in a retail store. I was so I furious I ran out of the store. The vibe I was getting from her tone telling me to hold on pissed me off so much. I have never been so embarrassed and unappreciated as a customer. I will be buying my sunglasses elsewhere today and may reconsider my relationship, if I do come back I will request...
