In the grand, greasy, glorious realm of burger joints, there sits a throne made of buns and dreams, and atop it, Killer Burger reigns—not as the budget-friendly monarch it once was, but as the slightly pricier overlord of meaty delights. It's a tale of transformation, of juicy patties evolving, not just in flavor but in the weight they pull from your wallet.
Once upon a less expensive time, Killer Burger was the haven for the hungry and frugal. It was the place you'd roll into, with just a few crumpled bills in your pocket, and roll out of, belly full and heart content, wallet still pleasantly padded. But alas, no kingdom remains unchanged. Prices crept up like the sneaky calories in those deliciously decadent burgers—quietly, almost imperceptibly, until one day, the realm noticed.
But let's not dive into despair just yet. For what Killer Burger demanded in extra coin, it paid back in heft and taste. The burgers? They're like the heroes of old: bold, robust, dripping with valor (and sauces), each bite a saga of flavor. The toppings aren't just thrown on; no, they're strategically placed, each ingredient a loyal knight in the burger's round table, sworn to make every mouthful epic.
The ambiance? Still as inviting as a warm tavern on a cold, monster-filled night. Killer Burger's walls echo with the clatter of satisfied diners, the air is thick with the scent of sizzling hope, and the seats welcome you like an old friend—or a comfortable dungeon alcove, if you will.
Yet, with the shadow of increased prices stretching across the land, a murmur of dissent has begun to whisper through the ranks. "Remember the days of cheap feasts?" the people sigh, a note of longing in their voices for the golden era of affordable indulgence.
In the end, though, the realm adapts. Killer Burger, with its slightly loftier tariffs, still commands a legion of loyal followers, their devotion fueled by the undeniable quality of the culinary quests it offers. It's a place where the burgers are still worth their weight in gold, even if it takes a bit more gold to weigh them. And so, the saga continues, with each bite a reminder of the evolving journey of this...
Read moreMy boyfriend brought me here as it was my first time. Customer service was great, very friendly while taking our order. We placed our order to go and didn't take long when our Name was called. Grab our food and said our thanks and told the staff to have a good night, one female said to us as we were walking out the door 'Sweet Dreams'.......
~ My boyfriend and i thought that was weird and a little sketched out about that. We were joking around saying maybe she put something in our food. My boyfriend hamburger seemed fine when he took his first bite. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich, (Description of ingredients was basic, mayo and pickle.) Which Is a favorite of mine and know the heat level. I took my first bite thinking it's going to be amazing with great flavors. I was wrong!! Something was put on my sandwich, something very, very, very hot which burnt my mouth and the spiciness went straight to my ears. I couldn't even eat or enjoy my meal cause it was extremely spicy hot. My boyfriend took a bite to see how hot it was and he could hardly finish the bite. First he said it was ghost pepper but then said it's 'Habanero'..... Not sure why the employee that said 'Sweet dreams', that cooked our food would put something so hot on my sandwich? I can't eat anything spicy no more cause my tongue is permanently burnt. I hope she gets fired or a lawsuit...
Read moreFirst visit was back in 2018, to Portland generally. A friend told us about "Killer Burger." A friend that told us about this spot never told us what to order so we walked in, clueless and asked the cashier, " What is your most popular burger?" "THE PEANUT BUTTER BACON BURGER" is their highly favored one. I looked at the guy with a twitch in my eye with a bit of disgust, like... "WHAT? SERIOUSLY? SOUNDS LIKE THAT COULD CAUSE SOME STOMACH ISSUES." So being in the city of being weird, me and my brother gave it a shot. LET ME TELL you, if you think you had the best burger at in & out or burger king or anywhere else, this burger will melt in your mouth. Sweet and savory!!!! The plus side is that peanut butter is one of my favorite things. Order it if it's your first visit, you will THANK ME. NO JOKE!!! Do it! Oh and if you're recently going on a cleaner side of eating like I have, they will accommodate to your needs with no bun and replace it with a big piece of lettuce.
You're...
