I was referred here when I could not find what I needed over at what appears to be a "sister" store (T.J. Maxx?). I never thought I would ever walk in here ("What does a man like me need in a store like this?" so I thought one time while waiting for my sister to emerge, i.e. I did not want to wait inside). Once I got inside, I was blown away at the variety of home furnishings and goods that can be found. I've got to come back here and take a better look. With only 15 minutes left before closing, I was able to find the item I needed, and that was after briskly walking through half the store going up and down each aisle, mesmerized by the sheer volume and variety of goods. I am amazed that I would find the specific item that I wanted, and not just one of them, but two of them, which was one of my requirements. I will be back. Kudos to this store (and the other one I mentioned) that they are open until 9:30 p.m. most nights. This one detail alone saved the day for me. I...
Read moreI absolutely love this store, but if you're close to the time that the store closes, plan on just being self. sufficient. I knew the store was going to be closed soon but GEEZERS, I wasn't even asking for any help or making any mess. I did however know exactly what time they closed because I was informed of that fact about (not even kidding) 10 times in a row, from the, OH, SO SO WONDERFULLY HAPPY , SUPER FRIENDLY FRONT END CASHIER, OR WHATEVER HER TITLE IS. I get it, sometimes you just want NOT TO HELP OR BE NICE TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER, EVER AGAIN...But there's the rub, huh, DONT WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU HATE HAVING TO EVEN SMILE. OK, Sorry for that. I have to say though, service of any kind is almost something that nobody cares about anymore. What happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? Now you're lucky to have anyone working at all and you better go get a lotto ticket if you get treated well by an employee that is kind, helpful...
Read moreI recently went to Home goods in Beaverton and the cashier had some stuff on hold for me and I bought it so after I payed she didn't even give me a bag to put my stuff in was very Rude . I kindly asked her if she could help me put my stuff in the bag and she said you can do what you want and than she wouldn't help me so I ended tearing my bag. I was so Angry with her she should be Fired. Normally I'veshopped there and the Employee helps me bag my stuff but never have I been treated like this before. I hope that Homegoods Fires her and they get more Nicer employees who will gladly help with customers and bag there stuff and not treat people Rude or make them feel unwelcomed. Thank you. This Employee was on cashier 1 and it was on Saturday February 24th 2024 in the evening. Please Homegoods look into you're Employees and really watch how they treat there Customers and if they treat them the way I was treated ...
