I don't have anything against Zara's clothing. I love their clothing but I HATED this location. I spent over $1,000.00 at this store a week ago, but I came back to exchange some items because some of the clothing didn't fit my nephew. We exchanged some items, but a mistake was made by their cashier. We realized she charged us for the exchanged items (it had to be purchased online because of the lack of size at their store), but didn't refund us/credit us back for the exchange, and the "exchanged" clothes were taken by the cashier. So basically we were charged double for the exact same items. Realizing their error, we went back in not even 10 minutes later and we were unfortunately "helped" by the manager Brie/Bree. I'm not sure how to spell the name, but the manager was SOOOOOOO rude. It made me want to return all of the items I bought because of the manager's horrible service and extremely rude attitude. Our conversation and interaction with Brie lasted a short 7 minutes. However Brie was too busy to help us, Brie literally said, "I'm too busy to help you right now. I can't help you because of the long line." How in the world do you tell your customer you're too busy to help them. So, when I looked back behind me, there were only two people waiting in line. Brie saw I was checking out the line and made a rude response before I could even respond. Brie said, "I can see there are only two people in line, but after I help them more people are going to line up. So the line will fill up soon." This was an obvious excuse, which was said only because they didn't want to help us. My sister was being SOOO kind and trying to resolve the issue with Brie, but Brie was still abrasive, dismissive and gave my sister attitude which is what made me the most irritated. If someone is trying to be nice to you, even though YOU were the one who made the mistake, and you're rude to them, it shows a lot about your character and what type of person you are. It's really unfortunate Zara would let someone who is so rude and dismissive represent their company and create such a negative environment for customers. From the looks of the other reviews it seems a lot of the one star reviews are because of customer service and rude MANAGERS. Attitude reflects leadership, and if your staff is rude it's because others are...
Read moreUnprofessional and incompetent branch director Leah Vreugdenhil. I have been a loyal Zara customer for years and completely devastated by the events of my last couple of visits to the store. My phone was stolen from this store in a matter of seconds while I was swapping a shirt for a smaller size. I was shopping in the men’s section of the store, 10 feet away from the checkout counter with only a couple of employees around me. There is also a CC Tv camera right above the checkout counter, in comfortable range of where I was. The store director Lea refused to be of any help and put the blame back on me for being negligent. She gave me a 1800 number to call and request footage which is some distant call center where the matter is unable to get any traction.
The phone was an iPhone and I was immediately able to get its location to be inside the store, before it went offline. The phone was later turned on at a residential address at 3 am. Since then the phone going online and offline, and periodically pings its location to be at the Zara Bellevue store.
Having interacted several times with the Bellevue square mall security and Bellevue police, I found there are other cases reported of stolen phones from within the store.
To be very clear, i have no intention to retrieve the phone, but at the very least the store needs to do something to make it a safe place to shop. The director is manipulative of facts and absolutely unwilling to have a conversation, which honestly I feel will be more beneficial for her store reputation vs a material iPhone...
Read moreHorrible customer service. When I picked up my online order in store, they showed me the parcel and asked me to sign. I signed the order confirmation then asked them to unwrap the box for me as I did not need the box. Then I realized it was a wrong item shipped to me, totally not the one showed up in the receipt. I told them I need the refund as this is the wrong item. The sales and the manager declined and even asked me to KEEP the WRONG ITEM because I have already signed the receiving confirmation. They told me the only way that I could get my money back is to call online store and ship this wrong item back! Is it rediculous? I need to do all of these to fix their fault.
I asked if I could just leave the wrong item to them and have the online store to send the shipping label to them since they process the online return anyway. This will save me time to go to Post Office. The answer is NO. Because I need to keep it myself to prove that this is the wrong item, they cannot keep it and confirm it for me!
Here is how annoying the process is. I need to call customer service to explain to them what happened and ask for a shipping label; then ship it back and call them AGAIN to let them know it’s shipped.
In the end, I shipped the item back and got my money a few weeks later. Have you noticed? They shipped the wrong item but I got through all the...
