If you take a certain type of medication and get it filled here, be prepared to get treated like a crackhead and for them to make it as hard as possible for you to get it filled.
I have two advanced bone diseases and chronic back problems and Iāve been taking this same medication, with the same strengths, for 13 years now. Itās literally the only way I can have a quality of life and work to support myself. Iāve been going to Moss Drugs in Gastonia for over 20 years and I love them. Theyāve always treated me with respect and dignity. But unfortunately, since around May, there have been inventory shortages of these meds, and Iāve had to go to different pharmacies in order to get it, including several different Walgreens locations. The bigger stores tended to have them in stock, but even some Walgreens didnāt have them, which necessitated me going to different ones. However, they treated me like I was āpharmacy hoppingā even though they shouldāve known good and well about the inventory issues.
I called this medicine in early this morning and I came in at 4pm to pick it up. First they told me it was too early, rather loudly I should say, so everyone could hear her. She almost seemed happy she thought she could tell me that. Which makes sense, because Walgreens pharmacy workers are on some kind of reward system and when they deny filling this type of medicine they points or something. Itās so weird. They are encouraged to deny this medicine. But that was a different strength that I also take, but dates are off because Iāve had several surgeries and they pause this medicine then until youāre done with your post ops. Anyway, she then proceeded to take forever to find the right one (even though I called it in this morning) and when she did, lo and behold, they hadnāt even started on it yet. I patiently waited for them to finish, and I got a notification it was ready. I waited an additional 15 minutes to pick it up until someone had to ask me if I had been helped. I had noticed the way I was treated and yes, I purposely waited to see how long it would take them to tell me it was ready.
I was just at my regular pharmacy to pick up another medication and they now have all of mine in stock, so Iāll just go there next month. I understand there are a LOT of people who abuse this medicine. But maybe, just maybe, there are those of out here that take it like theyāre supposed to and actually hate having to take it in the first place just to live the semblance of a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service at this location is beyond disappointing. In a customer service world at 942 am how are you unable to assist your customers. I did a search for tsa locks and I live down the street so convenience was there for me. I'm traveling and didnt want to run around looking for locks. Showed the locks were available for pickup within 30 min and in stock. I came in as Jo was stocking hand sanitizers and asked her if they carried these locks as I'm showing my phone. No interest go to.aisle 14 if its there. I went to thr aisle and the picture showed gold locks. So I didnt see any gold locks. Came back to jo and mentioned it says I can order so should I order because I dont see them there. She says you didn't tell.me you ordered. So I asked if there is anyone on the floor. I guess Josh being in another aisle heard what I was saying and said yeah if its not there we dont have them. Question. These machines they carry on their hand can't be used for inventory???? There's like no sense of urgency or assistance and its sad. So I leave out and I was going to order but I decided let.me go speak to them. So jo didnt even bother she says Josh shes back in to speak to you. Sooooooo Josh now decides to go with me to the travel aisle. Not there. I asked can you check your stock. He looks it up and says theres one from March and if its not there its probably stolen. So we go back to aisle 14 and its at the bottom black locks. I write this review. I'm in a customer service industry and whether your given feedback it matters. Do better Walgreens in this economy people dont have to spend their money with you!!! The staff at this location very dismissive. Stocking should never allow you to oversee...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this location today 03/26/2023. I went to grab a few cases of water, and a few other items that icluded a nose hair trimmer. The associate that came to assist me walked up rudely asked me what do you need? They keep small shaving items locked up. Well the associate proceeds to unlock then grabs the item and starts heading to the front. I am like I need to see it, you know see if it is rechargeable ect. She then says it is against store policy. I thought to myself this lady actually thinks I will buy something that I cannot verify has everything in it I need. She hands it to another cashier who says you checking out. I thought to myself does thislady not see I am pushing an empty buggy. I said no. I need to grab other things and asked her if I could see the trimmers, she said not until checkout. I lividly proceed t take my time grab what I came for and head to the register. She rings me up then says oh let me grab the trimmers, I told her she can put them right back becase I am not buying anything I could not see and that it made me feel like they profiled me as if I was going to steal. I get home and call the store to speak with the manager who was non-chalant about the whole situation. Needless to say I have been shopping at that same location 14 years, but they will NEVER see another dime of my money. Also I purchased Whal clippers 2 weeks prior, no issues so I guess this policy is enacted based on their racial profiling for the day. This is the CVS at Wilkinson and Park...
