Hi-Def Events of Avondale — Local services in Belvedere Park

The venue was nice and clean. The lighting was great. Staff was nice and helpful. The event went well other than witnessing the discomfort and humiliation of the birthday girl. I have planned a lot of parties and never have I ever came across a business that dictates, at the last minute, who can MC a party, who can touch the microphone vs bringing in their own equipment to introduce the birthday girl. Never have I ever witnessed the Owner/Staff sit at the DJ booth fully present during the introduction of the birthday girl by her friend that was suppose to MC. The friend had to scream across the room to introduce her to her guest due to not being able to touch the mic. The guest could feel and see the disrespect/tension which upset some people. I do not know the story behind the last minute decisions regarding the MC but business should NEVER be based on personal issues of the owner, especially when the innocent party has paid money, planned and was excited about her event. I wish this young lady a very happy birthday and I hope her night was not...

Because of the owner and how he disappointed the bday girl with his own personal problems. I have to rate as such… Just because u try and provide a full service including venue Dj and Mc. If a customer is paying the same full price as other customers they should be allowed to choose who is apart of their event. The y should not have to be bothered with who didn’t apologize to the owner 4 yrs ago. This was a personal issue that you the owner had and you caused your client to have to stress about something that had nothing to do with her or her event. Maybe you should put that in all your contracts that Mc. Peaches can’t mc any events in this building because she never publicly apologized to me 4 yrs ago. She is permitted to attend your event because she did apologize in person. But at any rate your building is nice and would probably be nice for a lot of other events just unfortunate that I can not ever refer anyone there because I will never have my people come where I am not...

OMG!!! Where do I begin.....the venue was absolutely beautiful!!!! I was attending a 50th Birthday Celebration, and the decorations left me speechless!!! The decor was very classy/elegant. The attention to detail was superb!! Very, very nice!!! DJ HD was the dj on duty and he did not disappoint!!! He played everything you would want him to play hunni....all the line dances for the Ladies and much more! The food was good and just overall a great experience!!! This venue left nothing to the imagination and totally delivered a Grand event!!!!! I would definitely recommend this venue for any event. It was absolutely amazing!!!! And I'm sure you'll be glad you did. The owner Lee was extremely personable and professional and it was obvious he wanted to make sure EVERYONE was having a great time!!!
