Im soooo Happy Alan is still here. I remember as a youngin going with ny grandfather to pick out my first silver dollar a 1882-cc morgan dollar i was gifted . over the years Alan not only taught me about other coins but had reasonable prices ALWAYS on coins and back in the day baseball cards all of which i still have. Recently visited to saddly sell some coins due to covid kinda cutting work hours and he helped generously . i truly am glad this shop is not going anywhere.

Read moreI saw the reviews on Google were pretty split 50/50 about the owner and I think that's a fair representation. Can't say that I had the worst experience in the world, but I made it known that I was new to coin collecting and that I like to shop local (i.e. I will be a returning customer if this experience goes well) and from that point on I got the vibe that I was inconveniencing him (which matches some of the other reviews on here).

I asked him a couple of questions and received very gruff "yes" and "no" answers as if I was wasting his time. Not once did he ask "what can I help you with". He followed me around as if he thought I was going to steal something. Store is overcrowded and dirty. Would be a nice place to browse if this guy wasn't breathing down my neck the entire time...
