HOTWORX - Benton, AR — Local services in Benton

I am writing to formally share my recent experience at your Benton, Arkansas location regarding my membership cancellation. While I am relieved my membership was ultimately canceled, the process was unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional.

I had been a member for less than a month and simply wished to cancel. Instead of honoring my request, I was pressured into providing repeated explanations for why I no longer wanted the membership. I was told the cancellation fee was $99, then offered $74, and finally $24 — despite the fact that I never received or signed a proper service agreement because the studio had entered the wrong email address for me.

When I asked to speak with someone higher up, I was told to email but could not be helped further in person. When I asked the staff member for her name so I could document who I had spoken with, she refused to provide it. That behavior is extremely unprofessional and concerning. Only after pressing did I discover her name was Tiffany, as it appeared on my cancellation paperwork.

While I did finally receive confirmation of my cancellation with no fee, the way I was treated as a customer was disrespectful. I should not have had to argue my way through the cancellation process, nor be spoken to in a dismissive and uncooperative manner.

I hope you take this feedback seriously, as customer service is often the difference between someone recommending HOTWORX or discouraging others...

The facility is overpacked. I checked and took screenshots for the next week there arent any openings in any of the saunas. Ppl do not clean the equipment and the staff doesn't either so you are using equipment that has been dripping in sweat in a hot humid environment that likely has 30-40 ppl use it on any given day. Please dont underestimate how germs love hot environments (think hot tub). Julia is rude. I will post pictures shortly.

Worth it. I was intimidated by the price at first but it's completely worth it. The hot workout has me sweating more than I could ever achieve on my own. You leave feeling so good. As soon as you hit the cold air it's such a relief and the workout is doable for anyone at any level. They have an app you can get to track your progress, book your session, open the door even. And if you log your calories through the app or with a fitbit, you can earn some of the money back you spent on your fees. Highly...
