I don't want to start from beginning as other students already described that process pretty well.

I took Full Stack Web Development course for 6 months. I was paying 1600$ a month and 2500$ upfront payment.

Classes were three times a week. First 2 months went pretty well. They explained js, html and css. After we started jumping from one module to another yet nobody could understand them. There are group projects which supposed to help you to get along with people and learn working in a team. But how are you going to work when only 10-15% class were catching up with instructor. After 4 months our instructor started drinking on fridays and missing saturday classes. He missed 4 classes and TA 's were not that professional to be able to explain the topics. I personally was doing uber and paying 1600 a month. Working 68 hours a week and going to classes. You couldn't imagine my face everytime I would make it class on Saturday morning after long uber driving night and see how Instructor isn't in class again. When it happened 4th time - I lost all motivation and quit going to classes. I thought I will be remote at least to save time for myself. But remote classes were very low quality and most of the times translation was going off as it was unpaid subscription. School also supposed to have a Student Success Manager and within 2 months 3 different people came to class and represented themself as SSM and left. Honestly I never seen any of them again. So we didn't have SSM for the time we studied there.

Also they promised to help with job search ---- Zero Help!

After the course I talked to one of the directors in school and explained him everything. I explained him how much I worked to pay for school and what we were getting in the class. I didn't pay for 1 months of school and they still haven't give me my Certification because of that. Even if I gained all necessary points to finish school. A year passed and nobody found job from...

As some one who has done all type of courses available at UC Berkeley extension (summer, diploma and individual classes ), “My suggestion’s are “ if your’e looking to improve your knowledge, get good education and have a good experience don’t join this extension . The standard of education is very low and is below par to the education you get in third world countries. The tutor’s are not professionals and have no subject knowledge . The management picks up random people to teach classes .. “example” the marketing strategies tutor for our class was a power point coach with no relation with the marketing world , the man had no subject knowledge and would show us youtube videos and teach us stuff he read in the newspaper before the class, this is just one example
.you’ll find many similar bozos pretending to have knowledge and put a damn good acting show in the class
The extension management is compromised of the most dumest and stupid people alive
some of them can’t speak english ‘’ actually most of them” , they don’t know how to solve problems and fight amongst each other like kids
joining this extension is one of the biggest mistakes i made
if you’re in for a high school experience of bitching, sucking up to teachers , politics and silly behavior this is the place
Don’t waste you’re precious time and money on below par education
it’s better to take a vacation, go partying, donate or even taking a risk of starting you’re business rather than paying the extension." International students beware “ don’t get fooled, you’re diploma is useless and nothing more than a white paper . "racism "in class thats a separate topic...

Extremely frustrating experience. I second what many other reviewers had to say about the quality of people "answering" their phones (rude, lacking the knowledge required to answer anything but the simplest of questions), and the huge problem that the professors do not return emails. Why the hell am I paying for this course when I can't get any help getting unstuck with more difficult exercise problems which are not answered in the text? No feedback from the professor? I love that many courses are self paced, but that does the professor have to ignore me in order to get that kind of flexibility? I spend quite a bit of time before writing an email- I try to find the solution to my questions myself, and also I write the questions very clearly so that there is no confusion on how to answer them. There is no excuse for paying this amount of money and being...
