Before going to Konja's, wedding dress shopping was becoming frustrating and I started to believe I would not find my dress. I've worn many formal gowns for various galas and have attended/stood up in more wedding's than Katherine Heigl in 27 dress so finding a wedding dress that (1) wasn't like a formal gown I had previous worn, (2) was unique and not like a wedding dress I had seen other wear previously, (3) reflected my personality, and (4) had enough sparkle became increasingly difficult. I went to 3 other very well-known bridal stores in the Metro Detroit Area as well as 3 bridal stores in the New York City Area and none of these stores compared in both dress selection and service to Konja's. Faye, you were an absolute Godsend to me in preparing for the wedding and I cannot thank you enough! I have had 3 dresses from Konja's for wedding's that I have been in. All have had horrid alterations. The most recent alterations were awful. None of the boning in the dresses were adjusted in any of the bridesmaids dresses to fit our bodies- so the curve where the bust was in the dress did not line up with our actual busts. Also when I put the dress on for my brother's wedding I noticed a huge hole in the front of the dress (see uploaded pictures for details). This went unnoticed at the store because of the pleating in the dress which had a flowy skirt. Konja's is not taking any responsibility. I do take fault in that I should have inspected the entirety of the dress before i left the store with it. However, I feel at a "reputable" bridal store once should not have to inspect every single inch of the dress.

I also have been in Konja's multiple times due to being a bridesmaids. The staff are rude and unpleasant. Every experience and interaction I have had there has been awful. I have given them chance after chance to prove they weren't as bad as my last experience and they have failed on all levels.

I agree with another reviewer. They are hit & miss with their warmth as it relates to customer service. They have a nice dress selection. However, several weeks ago I put half down on the cost on my bridesmaid dress. The dress was a rush order. Several weeks passed and they called, the dress arrived. I came in for alterations 12/6/19. They wanted me in ASAP as they close for the holiday on 12/15. I wanted to pay 1/2 on the balance. And pay the rest when I returned, 12/14. The lady with the blonde hair told me I had to pay it all. She goes, you were really supposed to pay when we called you-COLD. I told her paying the remaining balance was inconvenient. And I added, you should work with me as I had no way of knowing when the dress would arrive. I didn’t expect to pay nothing. I asked to pay half? She goes, you pay the dress off today. But you can pay the alterations off next week, which totaled $25. They didn’t care to work with me as a customer. Did they think I would ruin my friend’s wedding by not paying? I was already paying?? They wanted their money period!! I will not recommend this place to any future bride I know they are not...
