Shopping at Tanger Outlets Columbus is amazing! I enjoy the morning drive along the way with a nice cup of coffee from Starbucks and listening to Latin music. I was looking forward to shopping at Polo Ralph Lauren for a 2nd time. Once I arrived, the store wasn’t crowded. Two store clerks were completing customers’ purchases at the main counter in front of the store. And another store clerk was assisting a customer nearby. I decided to browse around for a good deal. The store was well lit by the ceiling lights and by the light shining through the window. I was able to navigate around the store with ease. The clothing on the racks was well placed. Kind of urge you to buy everything. Every piece of clothing was meticulously folded with precision. Sale signs were visual with large prints and well placed with each clothing. I found a nice polo shirt. Made my way to the purchasing counter, and Alan was available who greeted me cordially. And before completing the purchase, he asked me if I signed up with their membership program and if so, did you receive a 25% coupon by text. And I did. Read moreI’ve been to this Store countless times and have never had such a disappointing experience—until this Tuesday. I was returning two items (one of which was purchased by a friend) and buying a new dress. I offered to refund the items first to make the process easier. However, the sales assistant, Alan, was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire interaction. He showed visible impatience and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Most shockingly, at the end of the transaction, he threw the shopping bag at me instead of handing it over politely. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for any customer-facing role. Alan’s attitude and behavior were far below the standards I expect from a brand like Polo. Read moreI went here to see if I could find a specific type of shirt, I looked around for a minute, and then Issac assisted me. He was great he found what I was looking for right away, however, not in my size for the color I wanted. He also made a compliment. Great customer service. I went to the fitting room to try it, and another on and wow, the fitting room was a disaster. See in the pic attached. Not only was it a mess, I sat down for a second to respond to an email, and the lights went off on me as they were motion sensors I figured out. Suggestion maybe make them a little longer.
