When I arrived at Nelson J Salon I was greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk. She took care of me right away and explained all the services the salon had to offer- they are a full service salon! Everything from styling, permanent makeup, manicures, balayage and more!

Their bathrooms were clean and the salon was overall. They had a changing room where I put on a robe before my service.

I was quickly attended to and the woman at the front desk even offered me hot tea to drink, which I accepted. Nice touch!

I had the Aveda gloss treatment, which is 99% naturally derived! I love that! Nelson, himself, greeted me and came to talk to me about the treatment! He even suggested to add a little red to the gloss. I have black hair so it gives it nice reddish sheen in the sun.

Zully was the hairstylist who helped me and she did a great job with shampooing me before the treatment. She was easy to talk to and did a fantastic job!

I would definitely recommend this salon!

I would give Nelson J Salon 10 stars if it was an option! I cannot give high enough praise for the quality, communication, and overall satisfaction of our services. We were in Beverly Hills for a family wedding and we wanted to look our best! The staff at Nelson J delivered beyond our expectations!! They were incredibly accommodating to our requests. I repeatedly asked if they could add people or services within a certain window of time - they always figured out a way to make it happen. One of our sisters is a cancer patient and she left the salon feeling like Cinderella going to a ball! Every single staff member was delightful and they had an efficient system to get each of us styled with makeup and hair within a limited time. It was truly impressive! This was all while having a full schedule of regular clients who they know and greet by name. The salon feels like a personal, family run business with very talented stylists. It was truly a treat for all of us. I highly recommend...
