I don't use the word "exquisite" very often, but it's the right word for "& Sons" exquisite chocolates. I love chocolate but have been wary of high-end chocolate shops because the chocolates can be pretty but lack flavor. That's not the case here, where the chocolates are gorgeous--and truly delicious--each one packed with flavors both bold and subtle. The chocolate is ethically sourced, then handmade in Los Angeles. These gorgeous chocolates can be packaged in sophisticated, artistic boxes that look like modern art and are gifts in themselves. Each piece is truly a rare treat--something you savor like a fine cheese. I enjoyed a variety, including the creamy Hazelnut Gianduja which mixed Dark and White Chocolate and Hazelnut, topped with Gold Leaf. The Dark Chocolate Ganache is single-source 64% Madagascar Dark Chocolate--velvety and rich. I loved the Pan de Muerto, an unusual blend of milk chocolate with an orange blossom & fennel marshmallow on top of traditional Mexican sweet bread. The speckled yellow Passion Fruit Caramel packs a punch of passion fruit flavor in a salted butter ganache that isn't too sweet. In fact, none of their chocolates are too sweet--which makes the chocolate itself the star. Even their white chocolate (which I'm normally not a fan of) is delicious. Elena and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about chocolate. Let them guide you to the ones you, or whoever you're gifting, will like best. If you want to truly impress someone (or give yourself a special indulgence), I can't think of a better chocolatier in Los Angeles than &Sons.

Their special or holidays coffee menu is better than regulars. Not sure why they don’t open the choco store at this location, but it’s quite busy since people get in line for their coffee and there are few tables outdoors to sit. Cute spots

Saw them on my favorite podcast, and the reactions from the hosts and their crew made my jaw drop.. I needed it, like water to a fish. I had to wait 4 weeks to purchase and then they were so kind as to let you pick your delivery date; eating the chocolate fresh is recommended. It took so long to order because they would sell out in minutes every time they restocked. I was able to order either the 1st or 2nd Monday in December and then I had the delivery date set for Dec. 21st-23rd. UPS delivered on the Dec. 22nd. Welp, after 5-6 long weeks, I’ve finally obtained it. 5 days before delivery they ran out of the special holiday box but sent an extra box of truffles for the inconvenience. But no matter which way it arrived… it’s beautiful… but might I say, excellent customer service 👌 I bought the 24 piece holiday collection, I was afraid of having too high of expectations, but no… no way Jose. You bite into their chocolate and it’s a mix of flavors and textures I’ve never had. I 2nd the host of the podcast I watch when he said “now this is a unique chocolate experience”. All different flavors. I am more than happy with this product, I had bought two one from my son and I and a second box for my parents. And I know when they open it up with the rest of their gifts this Christmas they will definitely have a favorite gift. Will be ordering again for gifts/personal consumption. #family

Owner is a gem! I literally love coming here. Marc and his brother Phil have reimagined what I grew up loving and made it so much more. andSons Chocolatiers is bougie chocolate at it's best with a neighborhood feel that makes you want to give them all your money. Marc is the loveliest guy who can teach everyone a thing or two about chocolate. I literally want to visit every day for a coffee and a chocolate just to say hi, he's that cool. This chocolate tasting was unlike anything I could have imagined. I have tasted their chocolates before, (and loved them), but this curated tasting was so well put together, I felt like I was at a fine dining restaurant with a curated coursed out menu. It was truly an existential chocolate lovers experience. The first taste of Valharona dark chocolate was not only delicious but truly shows the basis for which all their other chocolates are made. I was told to snap it in half to really test how good the chocolate is, and boy did it snap! It's clear andSons put time into picking the good stuff, and no wonder everything that followed was each better than the next. Next up was from the Classic Line- the 64% Madagascar dark chocolate ganache is insanely good. I politely bit it in half so I could photograph the inside but I really had to restrain myself because I wanted to devour the whole thing in one bite. It was amazing. The Hazelnut Gianduja (yes it's impossible to say- "gan-du-ya") is my favorite. It's like Nutella but better, palm oil free and really really really fabulous if you like hazelnuts. I could eat 100 of them, so I hope they have a lot in the back, because they're so good. Speculoos Cookie was next and I'll be honest, I was expecting a store bought taste and this was SO not that. It was by far the best speculoos flavored anything I have ever tried. It really was perfect, and if you have ever tried speculoos- this will impress you. If you haven't, it will still impress you because it's delicious. Next up was the passion fruit caramel. I never would have picked this one myself but it turned out to impress the pants off me. It was SO good and I am not a white chocolate or passion fruit kinda girl. I liked it so much, I actually bought a few more to take home and share with the family... so that should tell you something. It was the unexpected winner of the tasting and if you are willing to try something new, this one is the one I would go with. I loved everything I tasted, I cannot say anything bad about andSons chocolates except that they are so delicious I don't think I can hold myself back from eating an entire box in one sitting. The boxes are notably fancy, so if you are looking for an impressive gift for someone who's into that kind of thing- they are especially designed by Dusen Dusen and have been written up and featured in publications so they are getting some serious recognition out there. More than all that, their chocolates are simply delicious, locally made, and not mass produced with all that stuff you don't want in your food. It might seem pricey, but they are a small business making gourmet food in small batches and keeping the icky ingredients out of their chocolates so they can deliver fresh little treats to our local corner. Totally worth the splurge whenever you want a delicious chocolate. And PS- they have the best coffee in town.

This Elite experience was amazing and I really enjoyed eating my way through their menu so I could write this honest review. They are, in my opinion, one of the best chocolates around and having seasonal flavors makes it worth coming in regularly to see what's happening and try one...
