[āstars šš¼ ] i just wanted a massage and now i have a headache. they took my money and didnāt follow up even though I called hours in advance. i called to reschedule and had an issue with communication, so I was translating to portuguese to the best of my ability on their behalf. They told me Maria would call to confirm.
Less than 30 min before the original scheduled appt, they tried to notify me of a change of masseuse and mentioned nothing of the reschedule. I asked about the schedule to clarify, and they said that they would be keeping my money because of a no show after I already called them hours prior trying to figure things out with them.
When emailing, instead of support to resolve the issue, they were more concerned about who spoke to me on the phone. No response over 24 hours later. Looking at other reviews on classpass and yelp, they have notoriously been late, double booked, and ended sessions earlier than what was offered in their service package. Poor customer service, poor communication, bad business practices....

She finished 50 minutes in after using an electric facial razor instead of the proper surgical scalpel that - mind you - kept dying throughout the session. Maria walked in and out periodically and took 15 minutes of that 50 minutes trying to charge or find batteries for the thing. She then applied the high frequency tool to my face that didn't seem like she knew how to properly use, felt like she was aggressively dabbing it onto my face. At the end, she slathered some heavy cream and walked out. She did not walk me through the facial process, she shaved my sideburns off (since when is this a dermaplaning practice?), and had her associate explain why it was 50 minutes instead of the 90 minute description. Thus far the worst facial I've ever received. Maria is also the owner and the face of the place. I'd give this place 0 stars, if I could....

So I rescheduled with them and was told I didnāt have to rebook through the app. I also checked that night and I didnāt see credit returned to me. Once I got my appointment rescheduled, I showed up and no one was there. When I called to figure out what happened they said I had to pay for a new appointment even though my original credits were taken on ClassPass. At this point, my credits were gone and I didnāt renew my ClassPass membership. I understand things happen, but Iām really just disappointed how this was handled and how I had to constantly call to chase them and figure out what happened. I wasted time going there when no one was there and every time I called I feel like I got a different answer. I just felt like my time was wasted on...
