Golden Massage — Local services in Beverly Hills

The massage was…fine. It was a last minute appointment I booked in the late evening, so I take that into consideration. The masseuse hardly used any lotion which was quite uncomfortable and left me uncovered for about half the massage. Also entered right upon knocking catching me getting both dressed and undressed.

I guess the masseuse was the only person there that spoke English so was also responsible for being the receptionist, which meant she left the room 3 times during my massage to go handle other customers. I understand she was the only one there but then the door should’ve been locked or something. I went in last night for a massage it was horrible! People who get massages regularly will understand when I say that she had no technique. She was literally wasting time by rubbing my body. No pressure no effort. I didn’t like it so much that I asked for 30 minutes instead of an hour mid massage. She then felt that she deserved a tip which she did not. Tipping culture is crazy!! How she did a crap job and verbally demanded a tip.

I didn’t give it to her though

What a waste of time and money.

First, they are good at the massage- with only that could have been a 4 star. During the session, you may be perfectly fine.

Now it's beyond unprofessional when it comes to payment.

At the front desk, I asked for an estimated cost for a half hour massage, it was $40. Then once you go into the room, it was $45. Then as you are putting your bag down, they say you have to pay first and demand for $20 tip. Cmon, I mean- a 50% tip? Before your serviced??

Any service based business needs to know to be polite with payment! It just doesn't matter how the massage was when you walk out...
