Stay Awhile Villas - Beverly Hills — Local services in Beverly Hills

I stayed with my family at Beverly Hills Maison, a beautiful place to rest and relax while we moved my daughter from Pasadena into a new apartment in Culver City to start her 2nd year at USC Law School. The entire trip was fabulous. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at a Stay Awhile Villa mansion, and we were very glad we did. We have stayed at many multi-million-dollar high-end homes, but the service here is the best. I had a significant amount of communication with Matthew and you can tell he loves his company and he loves taking care of their guests. He went above and beyond setting up the trip of dreams. We took advantage of what we feel is the best service available from any vacation rental company, it is called Drive Awhile. Our driver Carlos picked us up right outside baggage claim at LAX, no lines, no waiting, no rental car counter. Carlos drove us to Beverly Hills Maison, and from the moment the private gate slid open, we felt immediately at home. I think the black 2023 Mercedes G63 "G Wagon" waiting in the driveway as our delivered rental car kind of helped! Nice Car!!!! Carlos brought all of our luggage in and we were so impressed by the view from what felt like the top of Beverly Hills looking across the canyon and rugged landscape. We gathered a lot on the dining room table that can fit 10 people, and the beautiful kitchen with multiple coffee makers, high-end appliances, and all the wine glasses we needed! The bedrooms were all beautiful, especially the grand master suite, fit for a king, queen, prince, and/or princess. the beds were all awesome and we all slept like babies! We felt right at home in the family room, and equally at home in the movie theatre with full-size popcorn maker. The deck off the house is HUGE, and the pool down the steps is SO BEAUTIFUL and HEATED!!! Today, Carlos came to pick us up to take us back to LAX for our return flight home, and we didn't want to leave. But, they made it very simple, we reluctantly left the Mercedes G63 in the driveway and got dropped off at LAX and all we had to do was checkin. I can tell you three things: You want to rent from Stay Awhile Villas. You need to use their Drive Awhile option with airport transfers and high-end rental car delivery. You won't regret it!

I paid for a "luxury" unit on Carbon Beach, but it had no hot water, the floors were very dirty, and the door to the bathroom wouldn't shut creating privacy issues. I reached out to the on-site host at both the e-mail address provided in the guest manual and the e-mail address provided by the woman who checked me in. Unfortunately, I discovered bounce back emails to both the next morning, so I had to reach out directly through Airbnb. The owner of the company tried to blame me for not informing his team of the issues until 24 hours into my stay, but that's due to his and his team's own failure to provide an accessible person on-site or an accessible e-mail. Even after contacting Stay Awhile directly, my issues were completely ignored. I spent the remainder of my stay with a dirty floor (and by dirty, I mean my feet were black - see the attached picture that was provided to and unaddressed by the host and his team), no hot water, and no ability to use the bathroom in private. Because of the legitimate issues I raised, for which no remedy was provided, the "Superhost" proceeded to bash me on Airbnb through baseless attacks and assumptions about my character, entirely unrelated to my performance as a guest. Stay Awhile Villas is the furthest thing from professional, and no one should fall for the hype and waste their hard-earned money on these self-proclaimed "luxury" units. I will gladly take my money elsewhere and have no desire to stay at another one of their properties.

Views are the key for us and they are great! Home has lots of modern amenities.. some are clunky and can be simplified (ie multiple TV remotes for each tv, pool and sound system are tied to WiFi which was a little unstable during our stay). Master bedroom and bathroom are amazing with quality bed, automatic blinds, and amazing bedroom views. Shower is top notch w steamer to boot. Espresso machine never worked and was removed by maintenance. There was a coffee maker which worked well. Plenty of plates, stemware and cutlery and nice quality too. Game room has small ping pong table and various games which we enjoyed. Plenty of outside seating. Grill and smoker are great for cooking outside. We had several calls into customer service with varying results. Philip and his colleague (sorry forget his name) were great as they came over on a Saturday to try to get the hot tub heater to work. They called another person who stopped over and did repair it in time for some friends who were visiting. Overall, this property and neighborhood are terrific. Come here...
