Let me tell you about the kind of man that Dr. Ali is. I came in to his office in a state of absolute terror. I had an array of mysterious symptoms. Collectively, they were pointing to a compromised immune system as the symptoms were virtually manifestations of disease that infects very young children or those with an immunodeficiency. I have always been exceedingly careful when it comes to engaging in safe intimate encounters. Yet I had weeks earlier had a bit too much to drink, and though I was certain that my memory of the evening was correct, there was room for doubt. To me, there there's no greater terror than the specter of a disease such as HIV. As Dr. Ali examined me, he zeroed in on my demeanor and adjusted his tone of voice so that he was calm, systematic and assured. He very confidently told me what would happen. He said " I will take your blood and urine, not one of the nurses. The moment I have the samples, I will instruct my staff to get them to the laboratory ASAP. For now, I will treat your symptoms, which I agree are unusual, yet we cannot jump to conclusions." Then he said " I give you my word, the moment I have the results I will call you personally."
That evening, at 12:37 a.m, Dr. Ali called me and said "your blood work and your urine are clear. I can assure you based on the timeline that you have laid out that you have reason for concern. It seems that your anxiety has further eroded your immune system, so I hope that this good news will assist you in calming your mind."
Many people don't think about the fact that doctors have families. They have lives outside of their practices. Yet he called me after midnight to give me that news that freed me from a fear and panic that was as horrifying as one can imagine! For that act ALONE, he has my eternal gratitude. Do you know another doctor that calls you after midnight to let you know lab results that have your stomach tied up and not knots?
What a strange phenomenon that amidst the vulgar superficiality of Beverly Hills there is a physician so compassionate, overflowing with raw intelligence and most importantly a generosity of spirit as Dr. Eshan Ali. Stranger still, I admire him as a physician as much as I do a man, and I know 2 Nobel prize winning medical doctors. Do not let the name of his practice deceive you, he is NOT some pill pushing LA huckster gouging the wealthy residents of 90210. He is a BRILLIANT physician and a good soul.
You don't have to take it from me. You can read all of the other reviews singing his praises. Yet. I hope you will trust me when I say that if you have the Good Fortune to live remotely near enough that it makes sense to see Dr Ali, you would be a fool to put your health in the hands of any other physician. He's that good. That is just one example of so many that I have lost count of over more than a decade of being his patient.
In closing: Two quotes come to mind in particular that remind me of this most excellent physician. 1.) True compassion means not only feeling another’s pain but also being moved to help relieve it. — Daniel Coleman 2.) “A good physician treats the disease, a great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”...
Read moreI think in America we are not only limited by our healthcare system. We are limited by our perception of what is actually available. During Covid I got tired of waiting around for testing, appointments, vaccinations, and callbacks. I was paying an exorbitant amount of money for my health insurance without ever having ones hit my deductible; and even when I had come close, their were extraneous out of network costs and other costs not covered by my insurance. The end result is that paid a lot of money for inferior health services and an inferior experience
So , I decided me and my family would get the treatment we deserve regardless of costs . In the end I actually save money because it’s a direct to consumer process and I’m not worried about what’s covered and what I have to pay. At the end of it all I pay less money and get amazing care.
1 Dr.Ali is always accommodating , he works around my schedule as well as my family . He has incredible employees and they will make the house calls , make the adjustments and are adaptive . 2 The quality of care is unmatched . I can’t lie. The fact that the clinic is a Beverly Hills establishment with a known reputation was a definite encouragement when you get a Beverly Hills service you have a certain expectation, and the office has exceeded this every single time. 3 I saved so much time. I’m not having to worry about referrals for specialists or treatment referrals and who is in network . I’m tired of the food chain of health specialists, which all take a cut on the way to my final resolution- it’s a raquet . Dr. Ali’s team will make it happen in one visit, what in the past has taken three or four . 4 The clinic itself is beautiful, it is calming and assuring to be in a clinic you feel comfortable, especially when you’re dealing with high stress . 5 They can do all your beauty and cosmetic care. If they are not the right specialist for the treatment, they will find someone and bring them in at no extra cost.. 6 The clinic is the first time in my life where doctors check in with me and not the other way around. Sometimes I forget treatment homework. He will literally call you and make sure you’re doing what you are supposed to get better, feel better or better. 7 Most of the time I prefer to go to the clinic. The location is pretty much the best in Los Angeles. It is a quiet Cove of Beverly Hills close to shopping and restaurants and there’s nothing like a little retail therapy after a visit . 8 They are willing to make last-minute changes as your schedule changes, they understand what the difference between a concierge service is and standard health care . 9 Dr. Ali seemingly knows all the latest health and wellness technology and somehow is the first to get it in his office, including all the pain relief management I needed stem cells, PRP , muscle stimulation 10 Middle of the night availability that is not an...
Read moreI recently had an unpleasant experience at this clinic where I had scheduled an annual exam for blood work on a Sunday. As per instructions, I arrived on time and fasting, ready for my appointment. To my surprise, I was seen by a different provider than the one I had booked with, and this provider failed to introduce herself.
Upon informing them of the purpose of my visit, I was informed that there was no nurse available to withdraw my blood that day and was asked to reschedule for another day. This was particularly frustrating as the blood work was the primary reason for my appointment.
During my rescheduled visit on Wednesday, which was promised to be a quick one with no charge, I had to pay $20 and found myself waiting for over 45 minutes in a room without any sign of a nurse. When I inquired about the delay at the front desk, I was informed that the nurse was running behind schedule, despite expressing my own time constraints due to work commitments.
Feeling increasingly frustrated, I left the room door open in hopes of attracting attention. To my surprise, Dr. Daniel Bennuri, who was not my designated provider, approached me and asked if anyone had seen me. This further highlighted the lack of organization and communication within the clinic.
Although the doctor attempted to assist me with the blood withdrawal, my veins proved difficult, and I was ultimately given a lab order to have the procedure done elsewhere. While I appreciated the doctor's effort, it was evident that the clinic lacked professionalism and adequate staffing.
With only one nurse and an abundance of front desk workers, the imbalance in staffing further exacerbated the situation. Without the assistance of the doctor, the clinic's overall efficiency was severely compromised, leaving me deeply disappointed with...
