My family has been going to Edelweiss for more than 3 generations; over the course of 40 years, I have consistently bought chocolate here and never returned a single item. Recently I purchased a bag of chocolate pretzels that unfortunately were stale. When I spoke to the owner, Madelyn, she refused to replace the item, chalking it up to a "business decision." When I asked her how it was good business not to replace an item that was stale especially for a customer of 40+ years she told me she loved me and my family but it was still "business". Needless to say, this place no longer has any soul. It's been infected by greed and there no longer appears to be any decency left there. I hate to write this review because I grew up going here but its truly a sad state of affairs at Edelweiss as the store simply no longer cares about its customers (even it's most loyal and long...

I tried the dark chocolate turtle (Audrey's favorite) & the chocolate maple pecan cream (Frank Sinatra's favorite), as well as the popular chocolate covered marshmallows.
All were wonderful- I noticed the absence of waxiness (a good sign) upon holding the chocolates. Even in the cold weather, I noticed the heat of my hands warming up the exterior of the chocolates. The chocolates had a subtle sweetness to it & I tasted the quality of ingredients. I hear the boutique does chocolate molds very well & I love that I've found a place for office, birthday presents.
The owner is very friendly & helpful. She told me all the chocolates are made every morning in the factory in the back. I'd love to come back & have a tour when I'm...
ย ย ย Read moreYou had me at Edible Chocolate Candy Basket! Yes, even the basket handle is edible! This location is one of the first Chocolatiers in Beverly Hills. Frank Sinatra, Lucy, Katherine Hepburn, Oprah to name a few are connoisseurs of this Chocolate Palace. When you initially walk up to the shop, it is actually unassuming. When you enter and are surrounded by chocolate it then becomes happily overwhelming. There so many sweets to choose from. The staff is pleasant and will explain all the chocolates, combinations, where they come from and what celebrities likes which. They even have chocolate covered gummies and chocolate crayons! Asks to see where Lucille Ball got her Chocolate Assembly Line episode idea. It is a bit expensive but you're getting large pieces of chocolates, quality chocolate and excellent flavor...
