We recently celebrated a birthday for my wife at the Gutter Bar.

I would never had guessed that they'd only been open about a month. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday night, but everyone had their own space. The interior is laid back and has a 50s vibe.

We bowled for a few hours and had a blast. There were also some pinball and arcade games set up, but we didn't get the chance to play.

The drinks all had a 50s theme, I can't remember what I was drinking, but I know that I ordered a few of them.

The food was great, we had some charcuterie boards and shrimp cocktail to start, followed by some excellent French bread pizza.

Steve was fantastic to deal with, he and his crew took great care of us all night.

Cool spot for an event or to just bowl for a few frames.

We love how Biddeford is becoming an exciting place to live and explore, and The Gutter Bar is a fantastic addition. It has a 1950's vibe with 8 lanes of bowling, comfort food--think shepherd's pie and meatloaf--drinks like the Gutter Ball which was the most popular drink of the 50s. Bowling machines hit or miss so if you’re playing seriously don’t bother. Zero gloves used in the kitchen- walked by and guy had his bare thumb on a hotdog and hand in a pack of buns. Staff doesn’t clean up after bowlers leave, and bowlers don’t clean up after themselves. Menu is limited and all about hot dogs? eh. I’m...
