I visited Montana dress company on the hunt for a dress for a very special occasion. We are from Canada and only in town for a few days so I had a serious time constraint. I am a self conscious plus size gal and had several criteria for what would be appropriate. I need to add we had already shopped at several other places with no success. The moment I walked into MDC I knew this experience would be different! The owner and staff worked so hard to find me something. They listened to my feedback and made it such a fun experience. I was looking for some business casual clothes, and having heard good things about this place, figured I would check it out. I was not disappointed at all. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, I was provided exceptional service, and although a small(local)business, I was able to find plenty of items to work with. I love the fact that they constantly update their clothing, so next time I go in I will be able to find many more items not previously seen. And they only carry a small amount of the same items, so chances of me running into someone wearing the exact same clothing is slim. Paid $100 for a pair of sandals that fell apart the first time I wore them. Contacted the store immediately and was told that they would be contacting the maker and to not bring the shoes in, she would most likely just have me ship them back to the maker. She told me she would contact me after she spoke with them and make things right. She then ghosted me for almost three weeks until I did a chargeback on my credit card. At that time I was told that she had been waiting for me to bring the shoes back in, which is NOT what I was told (see voice message).
