Sheel and Shawn were our realtors for our new home in Troy. Although we were not first time homebuyers, we were brand new to the state of Michigan and had very little knowledge of the communities in the metro Detroit area. I first found this team in November after the other realtor we originally worked with dropped the ball too frequently, making the home buying experience extremely stressful. My husband started to get frustrated and wanted no part in the homebuying process, so I knew I had to find a solution fast.

Sheel and Shawn were super patient with us and gave us so much information, not just on each house, but also on each of the towns/cities. We started looking in Clawson and Royal Oak, then ventured to Troy, Rochester Hills, and Bloomfield Hills. Whenever we toured a home, Shawn went with us with incredible knowledge; it was as if he had previously been at the home before and gave a tour 1000x. By the third set of house tours, Shawn really nailed the features of the homes I was looking for. Throughout the time we worked with them, it became apparent that they were well connected, which also meant more insight to the market and the ability to tour homes right when they are listed.

We are a fast-paced, super busy couple, and my husband travels out of state a great deal for work. This team was very accommodating and was there every step of the way to support us. We toured homes from November through January and started submitting offers at the beginning of December. Even though two of our home offers were not accepted, we closed on our home at the end of February - the home, the timing, everything was meant to be. We actually ended up in a neighborhood we gravitated towards in the first place. We absolutely LOVE our home and are settling in great. Even the closing gifts were super thoughtful. When I reached out with some questions after closing, Sheel responded promptly.

I started off the home buying and relocation process from DC to Michigan remotely and cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Sheel. Sheel went over and above accommodating me being remote with his attention to detail, flexibility, knowledge of the local market and can do attitude. To start, he set up a portal for me based on my specifications so I could easily search houses and the neighborhoods. When showcasing these houses remotely, he set up facetimes with me so we could look at the properties together, making great recommendations, sharing feedback, comps and information. He was always available and kept in constant communication, working through this process with me. He is kind, patient, took the time to listen to me and my needs and never rushed me through the process which I appreciate. When I did arrive to Michigan, he set up open houses for me at convenient times, making himself available to personally go with me and check out the new properties. When the time came to make offers, he made great recommendations, was competitive, followed up constantly and really felt he was on my side. The deal we ultimately ended up getting had several offers, went into escalations and feel that with Sheels expertise, we were able to lock in a price and able to get my dream house. He has a concierge team on the ground for inspections, title, really anything that I needed. I really enjoyed working with Sheel and the Sheel Shohal team. I cannot say enough good things about Sheel, Shawn, and their whole team. From first contact to closing, everything went flawlessly. They listened to exactly what our search criteria was and curated great properties for us to review in the portal daily. Whenever we wanted to view a property, they responded immediately and were able to show it to us sometimes within the hour. While Sheel specializes in luxury real estate, he helped us find our perfect investment property and treated us exactly the same as if we were purchasing something much bigger/more lucrative.
