Blondie's Cookies — Local services in Bloomington

I have gotten cookies at Blondie's for years, today was the worst experience I have had. When I entered the store, there were 3 people just standing there having a conversation, 2 men and a woman.. I thought they were closed. The older man asked if he could help me, I asked if he worked there and he said yes, but I never would have known because he didn't have any type of clothing, or a name tag, that showed "Blondie's" name. I told him I wanted to get some cookies for my daughter's birthday, he leaned on the counter with his head in his hand and wanted to know what kind. I just wanted to leave at this point, by my daughter was counting on her "Blondie's" birthday cookies. I said to him, "you don't look excited to be here." He then proceeded to tell me about his back problems , I told him that I would come back some other time, and he said he would be ok as long as he didn't have to bend over--so I made it as easy on him as possible. His friends stayed, and they talked about his stint in the service and how it messed up his back. I just wanted my cookies. Finally, I got them, paid, and left. After happening across on of the small Blondie's Cookies locations in Mishawaka, I recently watched the episode of "Shark Tank" that Blondie's Cookies appears in (Season 3, Episode 11 if anyone would like to see!) Blondie has said something along the lines of "These are the best cookies on the market," This was not a lie, I have never had cookies better than these. I don't live close to a store so my last trip upstate, I spent over $85 dollars on cookies to bring home, and I don't regret that at all.

Minimal selection. Same thing every time. Especially if you want a frosted chocolate chip cookie, way over priced. I grew up in Nebraska with the Cookie Company. They were way better and the time I had them custom design my giant cookie it was beyond insane and perfect. I'd never spend the money on a custom cookie from Blondie's seeing their work and prices.
