I was at the studio in time for my class, but they held me at the desk until class started, just to make sure my credit card information was secured. This was when they already had all my info from a phone call weeks before when I promised to be a client so that the studio would have a good start. I felt horribly embarrassed because it questioned my honesty in front of other clients. Being the only foreigner there, it made me feel second class. I have never in my life been treated like that. You DID have my card stored before the studio was open (that was me trusting you because you called me home and this could've been anybody, but I trusted you). If you wanted to question me, you could have done so after class, instead of impeding me from getting into the room. I DID contact you several times and you did nothing, it is now that I have made a public complaint that you want to find a way to make it right. You need to care about people to make things right, it would've never happened...

The Hot Room is an excellent hot Yoga/Pilates studio located conveniently on the east-side of Bloomington. The entire staff are friendly, knowledgeable and strive to create a welcoming environment. The owner has taken many group Yoga/Pilates classes around the world so the studios classes are very comprehensive just like you would find in New York or any major European city. The Inferno Hot Pilates is my personal favorite class, I truly leave every workout feeling like I pushed myself to my limits mentally and physically, it’s a great way to jumpstart your day! As a runner and cyclist these workouts have been a wonderful addition to my routine. I’m so glad I happened to try a class out of the blue one day. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I think the hot yoga instructors lack differences in their teaching style and will literally do the same moves every single class with no change ever. If you show up 5 minutes late best believe they will turn you away and say “sorry we can’t let you in because you will disturb the class” like what they just started and they just are so strict with time and have no flexibility. I signed up for the two week trial but I will definitely be looking for another hot yoga place once it is over.
