As a young customer service professional in a retail setting, I am disappointed in my experience at this store. I was told about the sale and to "have fun" as I shopped. This was the highlight of the experience. The fittingroom curtains offer no privacy. My partner had to hold them closed for me. The store was slammed and I really felt completely uncomfortable with how the curtains fell open. I was then subjected to constant bombardment of employees taking products out of my hands before I could even decide if I was going to purchase them. It was utterly embarrassing and degrading to experience this on my first weekend off in months. Exceptional customer service and great selection for all ages and budgets! I live 1000+ miles from Blowing Rock but when I'm in the area I always make a point to stop by this stylish, fun boutique. I love their selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories and I find it refreshing that they offer options for every budget and age. Today I reached out to Monkee's for help accessorizing an outfit for a graduation I plan to attend next week. They helped me select a perfect necklace and purse to match my dress. And the most amazing part? All of this happened over the phone and with pictures they sent me (and they sent lots of pictures because I'm picky, lol). I come up a lot to the Blowing Rock/Boone area. While my boyfriend goes skiing I often hit the shops around the area. This is definitely one of my favorites! The shoe selection is really great. A wide variety in price which is nice if you are looking for a deal or to put down some money. I am used to my Monkee's in Raleigh carrying primarily Tory Burch, Hunter and Frye, however Monkee's of BR carried those brands in addition to Kate Spade and Nicole to name a few.
