I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cupcrazed Cafe in the charming town of Blowing Rock, NC, and I cannot express enough how truly wonderful my experience was. From the friendly staff to the delicious food, this cafe exceeded all my expectations and left me with a lasting impression. First and foremost, the staff at Cupcrazed Cafe deserves an abundance of praise. From the moment I walked through the garden gate, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcomed and attended to. Their knowledge of the menu, coupled with their friendly and approachable demeanor, made the dining experience truly enjoyable. It's heartwarming to see a staff that takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their customers. Now, let's talk about the food! Cupcrazed Cafe boasts a menu that caters to all cravings throughout the day, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options and let’s not forget to mention all the yummy cupcakes! Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast to kick-start your day, a delicious lunch to satisfy your midday hunger, or a savory dinner to unwind after a long day of exploring, or something to satisfy your sweet tooth, Cupcrazed Cafe has you covered. One of the standout features of Cupcrazed Cafe is its dog-friendly atmosphere. As a dog lover, I was overjoyed to find a place where I could enjoy a delicious meal while also bringing along my furry companion. The outdoor seating area is thoughtfully designed, providing a comfortable and safe space for both humans and their four-legged friends. It was heartwarming to see the staff genuinely embrace and interact with the dogs, making them feel just as welcome as their human counterparts. My pup loved the attention and the treat he received. I even have a bit of inside information there will be a pup menu coming soon! Lastly, the charming ambiance of Cupcrazed Cafe adds an extra touch of magic to the overall experience. The cozy interior, adorned with quirky decor and vibrant colors, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you choose to dine indoors or enjoy the fresh mountain air on the outdoor patio, you'll be surrounded by a delightful ambiance that enhances your culinary journey. I cannot recommend this establishment enough, and I guarantee that you'll leave with a smile on your face and a belly full of yummy delights.

Update: After my below review was posted the owner reached out and apologized. Sje was very kind and so embarrassed that we had this experience. She has spoken to staff and also the waitress that had mentioned they were out of some items, it seems they were not out of them after all. They are working on improving their customer service with that said I would recommend you give this place a try because their food is DELICIOUS!! We made reservations online and when we got there staff walked by us for about 10-15 minutes without greeting us or even saying someone will be right with you. Finally someone sat us she gives us our menus and asked what we wanted. Our friend ordered coffee and we ordered waters with lemon. When she came back she brought waters with no lemons or straws. Told my friend they did not have creamer or sugar. Asked if we were ready to ordered. I attempted to order the breakfast quiche to which she said “I had already told you we don’t have any” not polite at all. So I said no worries I would have the peanut butter waffles, my friend ordered the avacado toast and husband the scrambled eggs with bacon and had browns. About 5 minutes later waitress returns to say the waffle maker was broken. So I ordered the banana foster French toast. When our food arrived the runner that brought it asked if there was anything else we needed. My husband asked for ketchup and hot sauce, he only brought ketchup. Honestly at that point we just wanted to begin eating our food. The actual food was tasty and by far the best banana foster French toast I have ever had. My friend’s avocado toast barely had avocado, it was like a very thin spread. I wish I had gotten a picture of it. Our waitress never came back to check on us and someone else removed the plates when we were done. When she finally came back she said your food should be right out, to which we said we actually already ate and are ready for our check. It breaks my heart that the service was so bad since their food and atmosphere is wonderful. Maybe they can make some better adjustments as far as customer service.

I am so glad we ventured down the path! What a great hidden spot! They weren't very busy, so we were lucky enough to get the couch table by the fireplace. It was the perfect spot to dry off and warm up! The staff was awesome at recommending menu items for the kids. My special needs kiddo LOVED the kids burger and the deviled eggs. The bacon was big enough to remove which was perfect for the one kid that doesn't like bacon. My other kids said the macaroni and cheese was the best ever. I got to try some and it was fantastic. I savored every bite of the French onion burger. The food did take a little while to cook, so I'm glad we got an appetizer. They also have a full bar. The cupcakes were delicious! I loved the ambiance of the pathway through the garden. Outdoor seating is available and they have heaters set up. I could see this being a nice spot for couples and friends as well as family.

I visited Cupcrazed Cafe with three friends when we were visiting Blowing Rock. We were looking for a small bite to eat and visited the bakery, but they were sold out of most items. We averted our attention to the restaurant and looked at their menu and decided to have dinner there, which they weren't starting for another 30 minutes. We arrived about 15 minutes prior requesting a table understanding that we could not order until 5:00 p.m. We waited for a while outside. It seemed that the staff were a bit chaotic at the time. Once we got a table upstairs, the rest of the experience was just bad. The servers were really sweet and apologetic for lack of menus because their printer broke (no issue for us, it happens). It took a long time for us to get waters and then even longer to get our alcoholic beverages which were just versions of spiked coffee. $10 for pot coffee with some Bailey's is overpriced. The server was not aware of what beverage ingredients and food dishes were unavailable. When we ordered she had to come back two times to ask us to pick different things. I was unhappy with my choices. I got a cup of tomato basil soup and went it arrived it was room temp and the grilled cheese croutons were totally soggy. You could tell it had been sitting out for a long time. I got three chicken tacos and they were the smallest flower tortillas I have ever seen. I couldn't believe how tiny the portions were. The few times we asked for things it took a long time to arrive. I wouldn't come back here because the prices did not match the quality and portions of both the food and beverage. We would have most likely chosen a different restaurant if we all had cell phone service and saw the reviews because it sounds like we had a similar experience to many. If there were some changes though, I would try again. Maybe breakfast is much better there...
