Nothing against this particular branch of Swig. The employees are friendly, service is fast, and my kids love the drinks. However, I just canât get past the deceptive pricing. Others have posted the Swig menu, and if you take a look at it, like most people do at a busy drive-thru, it appears you just choose your size, and pick one of the drinks.
The menu shows that a 24 oz drink is⌠I think it was $2.35. So why was my total for two 24 oz drinks over $7?
I asked the employee taking orders about the discrepancy and she dismissed my question by blaming it on âtaxes.â
Busy parents with a car load of kids might not even notice that their final price is 50% higher than what the menu indicates.
Kind of interesting that I got resistance requesting an itemized breakdown of the receipt and one didnât even know how to print a paper receipt. All signs point to this obfuscation being a deliberate decision by Swig.
Sure itâs easy to dismiss it as only a couple bucks when youâre late to soccer practice or karate or whatever, but another thing entirely for a company to make deception its...
Read moreEdit: I'm editing my review . One star to four. My sister is obsessed with swig and so even though I was frustrated with the traffic at times I would go. I tried a couple different drinks that were mediocre and then eventually fell upon the beach babe. I am unfortunately addicted to this beverage, it tastes wonderful and I wish it came canned. Four stars for the beach babe and the customer service minus one star for the stressful traffic it put the neighborhood through.
Original: It should have been considered that people live very nearby this location, down the street. Your traffic regularly blocks our parking lot and decreases privacy of what is normally a cozy apartment complex. If swig was there with this traffic before I moved in, I probably would have even considered living elsewhere. That is how...
Read moreFor starters, I used to live in Oklahoma where there was a swig on every corner, I drank it every day. I moved to another state where swig is non existent, very sad. On our road trip, I just so happen to see if there was a swig in KC and sure enough there was. Itâs been almost a year since Iâve had a Texas Tab and let me tell you, itâs just as amazing today as it was last year. I was so disappointed when I seen the cookies and pretzel bites were out of stock as these were my favorite snacks (you must try them, I beg). The menu is huge and you can customize literally anything. I loveeee the cute seasonal tumblers that they sell. If you buy one, your drink gets discounted every time you bring your cup. The drinks are very well priced for what you get. We need a swig...
