I was told recliner would be delivered in April. Called store 1st of April and was told it was scheduled for production in July. I’m not sure when I will receive the recliner. If I could give zero stars I would. You get 3 days from purchase to receive refund and cancel order after that your sol. There is nothing good about this experience. Knowing what I know now there would be no chance of buying from this company given the time frame involved on the sale.If you are still inclined to buy from this store don’t expect your furniture before Christmas. Update: After contacting store in July the status was moved to Sept production. The original salesman called after my update and apologized for the delay. He then offered me to come into store and either get a refund or find a comparable chair. I visited store and found a recliner with the same features in leather and selected it. This chair was higher priced than my original purchase but the price reflected the original receipt. He stated the chair would be delivered Sat July 31. The chair has been delivered, setup and no problems with it. I want to thank John at the Boardman location for his help with this purchase. Read moreOur sales associate, Megan, was very nice and helpful. The store policies, not so much. They were having a 20% sale. Our chair didn't qualify. Then upon purchasing comes all the nickel and diming. Most places will deliver to the store and you can pick it up for nothing. La-Z-Boy charges $99 for it to go straight from the warehouse in Columbus to your house, which is fine for some people but we prefer the other option. Then another $100 for fabric protection. So our $499 rocker/recliner ended up being $643 out the door. Talk about sticker shock. We decided against the fabric protection.
The above was in 2018. I went back to get a new rocker recliner and was giving my older one to my son. It really held up over the years without the fabric protector. So I went in knowing what I was up against. Chloe was very nice and knowledgeable on the chairs. I brought my son because he is really good at testing furniture. Read moreOrdered furniture in November. We were told it would be 4-5 months before it would arrive. Waited until May and tried to call several times with no answer. Finally got a hold of someone the end of May. After several attempts to find our order we realized they wrote the wrong phone number in for us and our furniture had been there since March. They said they had no other way to get a hold of us because the sales person didn’t take an alternative number or an email address. They had a note in the system that said it was weird that we didn’t answer our phone. Apparently none of them have ever heard of mailing a letter since our address was listed in the sale. I don’t think the price of a stamp is too much to ask for considering the amount of money we paid for the pieces. I still gave them 4 stars because the furniture is great and the delivery team was professional and courteous.
