Robb & Stucky — Local services in Boca Raton

We had purchased 2 living room couches, 2 sets of sheer drapes, from a 18 ft ceiling and from a 12 ft ceiling, 5 of their most expensive dinette chairs that went around a beautiful dinette 54 table. This entire package cost quite a fortune. The dinette table was made of marble. Since this is used multiple times a day, who would construct the top out of marble. Anything that gets on it causes a permanent stain, no matter how fast you clean it. The sales person at the time of picking out the table should have either warned us or said to have it immediately sealed. We had a kitchen done, and the company recommended quartzite because it is impervious and definitely not marble. We were again never warned or we certainly would never have chosen this table and found the most exoensive chairs to match @ $750 per chair x 5 plus tax. Now the table is covered with a plastic sheet which is ridiculous, absurd and ugly . Upon calling, they said we signed upon delivery a note to immediately wipe up anything. Nice to be told after the fact of buying thousands of dollars from them. We thought typically , we were signing delivery papers not maintenance which was never revealed when we chose the table. Typically, you are told prior to purchase the pros and cons of the item. If this is the way they treat customers ,they have certainly lost us from future purchases and we certainly would not recommend them to our friends who come by and admire the remainder of the way the house was furnished. Purchased 3 items of their BDI office furniture line several weeks ago. Our experience was great. Decided to add 2 more items. We stopped by at 4:45 PM yesterday to order them. Someone named Cheryl greeted us as we walked in, being kind here, and she immediately informed us they close at 5 PM (knew that) She suggested it would be better if we came back another day. We asked if someone could help us buy 2 additional office furniture items now. She said Robb & Stuckey did not sell office furniture and there was no one who was available to assist us. We informed her we'd already purchased 3 items of their BDI office line and wanted to add 2 more pieces. She was unmoved! Okay, I understand it's the holiday season and everybody's busy and perhaps she thought we were tire kickers. But why stay open until 5 PM if you are simply going to turn away people who walk in the door at 4:45 PM? Why lie to your customers about product line? Why be rude to customers? So we drove to Adams Interiors, open until 6 PM (arrived at 5:40 PM) and they were happy to sell us the 2 BDI...

Exceptional Service from Helene Brown at Robb & Stucky, Boca Raton. I am writing to commend the outstanding service I recently received from Helene Brown, a designer at your Boca Raton location. I recently purchased a bed, and initially, what I envisioned did not seem to exist.

Helene was incredibly patient and understanding throughout this process. After just a short conversation, she demonstrated an impressive ability to understand exactly what I needed. She was remarkably easy to work with and was not at all pushy, which I greatly appreciated.

After she had completed all my initial paperwork, I went home and, unfortunately, changed my mind. I truly believe I tested her patience with this last-minute change, but she remained gracious while rewriting all the paperwork.
