Hillje Music Center — Local services in Boerne

I have been having so much trouble finding good sounding Acoustic Guitar strings and being helped by store reps that really didn’t know anything about strings. The ones I had been given sounded awful and often snapped. I went months without practicing much because it sounded so bad and I was starting to think it was my hearing. I went to Hillje here in Boerne and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. I explained the problems I’d been having with sound and strings that were painful to my fingers. He suggested These strings by Earnie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Guitar Strings called “Silk and Steel Soft” 80/20 Bronze Alloy. Best sound I’ve heard in some time, They sound Beautiful on my Luna Acoustic Guitar and don’t cut into my finger like others I’ve had recently. We also purchased a Canglewood Acoustic Guitar there last year from Hillje in Flat Black Color. It is so pretty and doesn’t show finger prints and sound beautiful. They have a really nice selection of guitars.
