Came by to visit, it was a neat little place. It was late in the day so most of the pastries were already gone. My husband got a few small cookies. I tried a pretzel it was ok, loved the spicy mustard that it came with, it was a little hard though. We got some candies as well. We paid $22.00. There are no prices marked on anything- so it could be dangerous to shop here. There a little on the pricey side for candies and popcorns. Over all pretty good experience though, they were really friendly. Not sure we'd really would want to come back. Only because the prices over quality just didn't hit right for us, we've visited other places that stood out a little better with the same things they offer.

Such a cute store! This place offers what it says.. lots of sweets! 🍭 Since I am not from the states I asked the guy at the store for some suggestions, specifically an old fashioned American candy. He was lovely, he showed me different ones through the shop and explain a little bit about them. I bought moon pies! Not disappointing at all. 👌 (chocolate flavor) The selection they have is good and for all tastes. I highly recommend to check it out if you are a tourist or a local. I’m sure you’ll find something you will want to try. Popcorn, sweets, old fashioned soda, gum, ice cream, etc. It is a small store so keep in mind this for your safety during COVID-19.

We visited Salty & Sweet on a recent field trip to Boerne and I'm so glad we did! The homemade ice cream is to die for. It's so creamy and sweet, without being overpowering. The shop has every kind of candy and vintage candy you can think of. I was especially delighted by the candy cigarettes - what a wild blast from the past right? The owner himself was incredibly patient with my three wild boys who wanted to taste test every flavor he had. I felt so bad but he didn't miss a beat, he is clearly very passionate about what he does. He was so kind and accommodating, he is a real credit to Boerne.

Had so much fun creating at home movie theater packs with small flavored popcorn, candies, and soda in soda carriers (Posted Pictures). We will rent a movie at home and each have a our own pack of yummy goodness. If you are a Potter Fan they have Butter Beer and Harry Potter Candies to put in a Butter Beer Soda carrier if they have have some left with some of your favorite popcorn. My daughter who considers herself a Hufflepuff was thrilled!!! Everyone is so friendly there and helpful. My husband I love stopping by on our dates for rootbeer floats and my best friend and I get Sodas and a giant bag of Dill Pickle Popcorn. I am a Ginger Beer fan and they always have multiple types on ice. This place is a do for all ages. Have a date there, bring your friends, or take it...

I am visiting from Houston and we decided to go into salty and sweet… We ask for a one scoop cone of ice cream… We were given maybe a tablespoon on a stale regular cone and it cost $15.50. We do not mind paying for good quality Items, but this was utterly ridiculous. my three-year-old granddaughter could eat the ice cream in three bites and I have never heard of purchasing a cone for $2.50. I guess they expected us to eat it out of our hand. I thought ice cream came with a cone or cup, I guess I was wrong..We questioned the price and the lady became rude and looked down her nose at us and said that everything was made homemade in house…really !! I don’t believe it. If this is made in house then I make my butter at home. Will never visit again not a very...

My husband and I checked this place out for the first time, earlier today. The staff was lovely. They were very kind and helpful. i’m sad to say this was the only good experience though. We ordered a couple pretzels though and got some little containers of beer cheese to dip them in. Sounded super yummy. The pretzels were really dry though and tasted rather old. And the beer cheese was also rather unpleasant. It had a strange, almost chemical taste to it, it was cold, and was as runny as water. Pretty disappointing, considering the gentleman who was working there told us he had just heated it up. Phenomenally overpriced for the low quality. Definitely won’t be coming back. Maybe their candy is...
