This is a hard 3 stars. The staff is generally friendly, however I had some attitude on my last visit that has left a bad taste in my mouth and haven't been back since. Their selection is relatively small but well organized and the layout/presentation is better than most pawn shops seem to be.
I see reviews of people complaining about buy offers, though I have never sold or pawned (Only purchased) items here, I have been in many times and seen several experiences and I thought all were fair. People need to remember this is first and foremost a business. They are not buying your items for themselves, they are buying them to resell and make some money. The overhead to run a store and pay employees and benefits comes out of the "profits", so they wont give you "retail value". Also your item may sit there for months and may actually lose value before it sells, this is a risk they carry. If you want retail value, sell it yourself.
I also see people complaining prices are high, that they are. The sticker price I have seen on anything in there is consistently high, though they know they are high and are willing to negotiate. I do not much care for the haggle atmosphere, but people come on. These people are here to make a living and if you think the price is high, what does it hurt to ask!? You do have to keep in mind that market value for some of these items may change from when it was originally stickered also.
Back to my original point though, customer service is a big deal to me and I have typically had a good experience here. However, on my last visit I got some attitude about something that was unnecessary. Though I had unintentionally caused some nuisance, it could have been approached far better rather than being rude and acting like I was trying to be a pain in the ass. And this was straight from the owner. I get people have bad days and who knows what crazy customer she just dealt with and that is why I have chosen to leave a 3 star review rather than 1, but I do not know if I will come back here...

I Think this place is appropriately named because you would need a pistol to get stuff what they are willing to pay.these guy a Thieves. So I went in there looking for a small loan $200 just to get me through the next four days till I got paid. I brought in about 3 grand worth of the stuff just to make sure they felt comfortable and had plenty of collateral to give me a miniscule $200 loan. Well the guy agreed to give me $100 "gunshy jimmy" and reluctantly I said yes. I brought all my stuff into the store started writing it all down so I had a list of everything that I was leaving with them and gal "thief" apparently the owner came in looked at all my stuff and said Wow I wouldn't give you $100 how about 50 and I said what he already agreed to give me a hundred. She said $50 is the best I can do. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Wouldnt even honor her own employees agreement so I pack up all my stuff and left went down the street. Pawn exchange didn't even tell him how much money I wanted and they offered me 260 without even a negotiation so if you really are interested in just need a little help to get the next payday and want to get a small loan I highly recommend not going there it's too bad too because it's kind of cute nice looking little store unfortunately very uneducated ownershipso unless you just wanna go somewhere to argue and take pennies for what you have then do yourself a favor don't go to pistol...
