Not pleased with optimum in bossier city. On June 30th I turned in my cable boxes and was told at the optimum office that my cable service is cancelled soon as the boxes were scanned in and that I don’t have to do anything else regarding the cancel. Fast forward today, July 9th and I go to pay this months internet bill and it’s still the full $230 price of internet/cable. I told them how I had turned in the boxes last month and they still said I have to call to cancel the service and that I would have to pay for cable up until today of this month. Also they could not change the price of my bill and I still had to pay $230 bucks today and then get $160 credit on my upcoming internet bills. Long story short I was mislead at the optimum office and then was forced to pay a full $230 cable bill (that I didn’t even have the boxes for) and of this $230 I will get $160 credit on upcoming bills but the remaining $70 I will never see thanks to the optimum office not being clear on the canceling process. The woman working said that is the new cable box, the old ones are being phased out and I actually need to turn the old ones in. And they don’t offer the cable plan we used to have. She also stated that the optimum customer service have no idea what they are talking about. She also informed me that I had no business handling this, that it should have been my husband. Read moreFaith was polite, but unprofessional and ignorant. She gave excuses as to why she was unable to do her job. She sent me to another store when she was either unable or unwilling to resolve my issue.
I came back to the store after verifying the problem Faith claimed did not exist, and was helped by Mrs. Corky. She was polite, but also knowledgeable. Even while Faith was making excuses as to why they couldn't help me, Mrs. Corky was getting the problem resolved.
At one point Faith said I would need to leave the store and call tech support, after I informed her I didn't have a working phone.
