I went in the store to upgrade a line I had that was eligible for an upgrade. This whole fiasco took over 6 hours....Brice and the staff were nice and friendly. However I can not say that I left satisfied. During this process my husband's business line was turned off by customer service as an accident which took hours to get fixed. I will say Brice did work through his lunch to get this fixed. And I appreciate that because that mess up was through no fault of his. However, I asked for a phone case for my new phone. I did not ask for a screen protector and would never ask for one (even though the phone I was trading in had a broken screen) I can NOT type on screen protectors, it is frustrating trying to type on them. I would never request one and certainly never buy one for 60 dollars. After 6 hours he told me the amount to pay and I was just grateful to get out of there so I paid. This morning after reviewing my invoice it shows I was charged 60 dollars for a screen protector and the back of the invoice states that they do not accept returned screen protectors. Well, 1. I didn't ask for it. I saw him put it on the phone but I assumed it was a promo item, never dreaming that a tiny piece of plastic was 60 dollars so I didn't think much knowing I would remove it as soon as I got to the car. Which is exactly what I did before I even left their parking lot it had to go. Now I am stuck with a 60 piece of plastic that I didn't want or ask for and to ensure I couldn't bring it back and him missing out on his commission then he even installed it for me, therefore making sure it would be "used" by the time I noticed the charge on my invoice. I left 2 calls to the store this morning to speak to them in regards to the 60 dollars I feel was scammed out of me and no one has bothered to call me back. Also, I felt rushed after being there for 6 hours he had me restore my phone before making sure everything transferred correctly to the new phone and therefore I lost very valuable information from my old phone.
And lastly the new phone I got yesterday is now not working and waiting on one to be overnighted for me.
Seriously almost canceled my Verizon Service as a result of this whole fiasco. Finally was able to get through to a great customer service agent who fixed all the issues that got...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They charge $75 for a "restocking fee" to replace a defective phone! Verizon corporate said the phone was defective & to take it back to the store I had purchased it at & exchange it. When I arrived the gentleman I had purchased the phone with said it worked & that they would not exchange it. I walk out & call corporate again & the guy on the phone told me to walk back inside & to let him talk to them. He gets off the phone & says I can pay $75 to have the phone restocked & then I can get a new phone. Let me remind you the phone is defective. Verizon corporate told me they would wave the restocking fee since the phone is defective. I tell the guy what corporate told me, he quickly tell me that they are not a corporate Verizon store & they can't access what Verizon corporate has agreed to & they don't have to honor that. Well then. I agree to pay the $75 fee. When we are almost done with the transfer the manager walks up & asks where the box the phone came in is. I told him it's in the trash at home. At which point he tells me to go home & dig it out of the trash & bring it to them or they won't do the refund. At this point I had to leave. My husband drove us home & found it along with all the paper work it came with. He did the rest of the refund. He said the manager was rude & flipped through every page of the paper work the phone came with & told him he could keep the head phones since they had been in his ears, yet the box came out of my trash can from outside. Worst customer service & store I have...
Read moreWorst experience ever! Tried to leave AT&T, but everything that we were told regarding the promotion that we agreed to (at this location) was incorrect. After two weeks of dealing with the Manager (who sold us the plan) and with corporate customer service, we were told that the "in store" promotion had ended the week before and that we were not eligible for it. Our monthly bill increased from the agreed $146 to over $200. We told them that we were bringing the phones back and wanted the contract canceled, but were then told that even though they made a mistake, there would be a restocking fee. YES, a restocking fee????!!!! This location is not a corporate store, it is individually owned and they do not have to follow the corporate/national promotions. Corporate customer service was unable to help, even though they tried, because the individually owned stores can make up their own promotions and they are not privileged to them. The store manager is a child, with not even an ounce of experience nor customer service skills. Do not use...
