I have to make this review since I had to go to the hospital this morning after eating here last night! how food instruction turned into a nightmare for me all I asked for was no sauce on my chicken and less on my noodles I can only eat small portions of the marinara and I explained all this well before my order was placed and after being looked at crazy and then being told yes ma’am I will have it taken care of I got brought a plate with marinara all over my chicken the waiter said he put it in the notes and took it back they scooped it off put it on top of my noodles so I had double double marinara I was picking trough on my noodles and trying to scoop on myself and look how shiny that chicken is with the sauce on it still!!! Showing me it was scooped off but how shiny the chicken is they put it back in the fryer??? With sauce on it that’s DISGUSTING!! And against a lot of regulations picture taken as soon as it hit my table so no denying but when it’s not the customers fault and they make it very clear that they have a food, problem or Allergy and y’all messed up the food and the customer made sure to tell everything right remake the food don’t treat me like that over your kitchen not reading special instructions, right that’s part of their job also, your worker should not be standing in the front talking shit. Your customers can definitely hear them. Depending on where...
Read moreAh, Olive Garden in Bossier City – the pinnacle of fine dining for those who crave a touch of sophistication with their pasta! When you're yearning to feel like royalty while indulging in spaghetti and meatballs, look no further than this culinary sanctuary.
The ambiance? Oh, it's truly unparalleled. Picture yourself surrounded by faux Roman columns and lush greenery, all under the soft glow of warm, dim lighting – perfect for convincing yourself you're in the heart of Tuscany rather than Bossier City.
And the service? Let's just say, the waitstaff's enthusiasm for breadsticks rivals that of an Olympic athlete going for gold. They'll keep 'em coming until you beg for mercy or start contemplating whether you should be wearing a toga to fully immerse in the experience.
Now, onto the food – a masterpiece of Italian-American fusion. The spaghetti is impeccably al dente, with a marinara sauce that's a subtle symphony of tomatoes and herbs. The meatballs? Oh, they're like savory clouds gently caressing your taste buds. And don't even get me started on the Parmesan cheese – they'll grate it until your table resembles a winter wonderland.
So, if you've ever dreamed of feeling posh while twirling pasta on your fork, Olive Garden in Bossier City is your spot. Because sometimes, nothing says "elegance" quite like unlimited breadsticks and a hearty bowl of carbs....
Read moreFirst thing to note: make reservations if you can, or come late at night. This place is very popular. The menu was a bit overwhelming, but I shortly realized that there is a limited list of ingredients in play here, and most of the menu could be classed as "make your own pasta" or "pick this combination". You definitely should know your pasta type before coming here. My wife tried the beef strips with tortellini, and I tried the shrimp Alfredo. My wife had asked for hers to be lightly seasoned as she has to watch her salt intake, and we had a salad as well. Now we know... but Salads here come pre-dressed in a large bowl from which you dish up yourselves. The salad was heavily seasoned; I enjoyed it but my wife could not. The tortellini was very salty, too much for my wife as well. I tried some of that dish, and it was mostly the sauce - the actual tortellini was not salty, and the beef strips were only mildly salty. Luckily the shrimp Alfredo was not too salty. The management was nice enough to swap out my wife's dish for a second shrimp Alfredo, which they prepared in a to-go box. As I have said before, a good wait staff can overcome most problems that a restaurant might have, and our experience was positive enough to warrant a return trip. Sadly the return trip was during the busiest time, so we went elsewhere instead of waiting an hour, but I...
