We Olive & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Bossier City

I'd almost rather not review this new location because it might get so busy we can't get in, but Bossier has needed something like this for so long. Bistro feel, quiet intimate, knowledgeable staff, superb creative food, great wine selection, over the top balsamic vinegar and oil pairing. They also sell oil and vinegar retail too.

We heard how wonderful it was from daughters and husbands but mmmm-mmm! We had the chicken flatbread to start and it was amazing. It's called barbecue chicken flatbread but I can't figure out why it's called barbeque - so Mediterranean and amazing flavors. Then we had an order of stuffed pickled peppers stuffed with goat cheese, and salami, goodness in the mouth! And we had the bread with vinegar and oil. Had to be the best bread we dipped in oil and vinegar since the days of Olive Street Bistro. (Telling my age)

What a regional gem! My son was visiting from Minnesota and needed an oil change for his car which was nearby. After dropping his car off, we decided to enjoy a nice break at We Olive. For years, I had this idea that We Olive was too specific for me, so I never tried it. This visit with my son, couldn’t have been more perfect! We had the stuffed Peppa dews, the prosciutto wrapped dates, the burrata flatbread, and the oil tasting tray. The food was so good, that I ordered a grazing box for him to have on the 15 hour drive back to Minnesota! The food, the environment, and the people made this the most perfect break...

What a cool little spot. The wine was good, stuffed peppadews were good, olive oil and vinegars amazing. Staff was very friendly. We walked in around 3 pm on a Wednesday, it was our lucky day as the glasses of wine are half off on Wednesdays…otherwise, full price glasses of wine are pretty steep.
