I am near the end of a year-long treatment journey with Dr. Ghedaff Dam. I am someone who has historically been terrified of the dentist, likely because regular visits to the dentist were not available to me growing up. That, coupled with a few awful dental experiences later in life, made me a fearful skeptic.

Just over a year ago, I came to Prudential Dental with a laundry list of dental issues. Most of which I ignored for as long as humanly possible. I was able to hide most of my dental problems for many years, and as they continued to manifest, I continued to ignore them. Eventually, these dental issues started to outpace my ability to hide them. It was becoming jarringly obvious that they affected not only my oral health – but also my general health, confidence, and ability to express myself freely.

After months of research and a literal chat with my therapist, I made an appointment with Dr. Ghedaff Dam. I felt overwhelmingly embarrassed and nervous going into this appointment. Coming to terms with the fact that I had taken such poor care of my oral health was hard to accept.

I walked into the office for my first appointment. I was promptly escorted to one of the treatment rooms. As I waited, I stared out the window at the city buildings below, trying to manifest a positive experience. Dr. Ghedaff Dam walked in with her big, beautiful smile, and the most warm and vibrant woman greeted me. I was nervous, but her energy was incredibly comforting. We chatted a bit, and she began to assess my teeth, gums, smile, etc. She was thorough and patient and answered all my questions; she encouraged me to ask as many questions as needed. My nerves quickly melted away, I felt seen and safe.

She devised a plan that included extensive dental work, and at every single appointment, she met me with the same gentle, warm, compassionate, and vibrant energy.

I eventually found myself excited to go to my dental appointments. Some of the work I had done by Dr. Gheddaf Dam includes fillings, crowns, inlays/onlays, an extraction, bone grafting, an implant, and Invisalign.

Dr. Gheddaf Dam is consistent, thorough, knowledgeable, and has an intuitive sense of what her patients need beyond basic treatment. She has often created unique and innovative solutions specific to my case. She always checks to ensure I am not in pain and as comfortable as possible while she works. Dr. Gheddaf Dam even checked in via call or text after my more intense procedures. She genuinely cares about the well-being and positive outcomes of her patients. I have never felt so well cared for by any doctor. Speaking to who she is outside her career as an esteemed dentist. Her character shines so brightly – Dr. Gheddaf Dam is a kind-hearted, compassionate woman with a beautiful spirit and magnetic energy.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the other folks in the office who made my experiences so pleasant. The synergy at Prudential Dental is hard to miss. Claudia, Paula, Marcela, Lauren, Talia, Amanda, Audrey, Dr. Aziz, and Dr. Taneja have all made my experience at this office wonderful in more ways than one.

She has consistently gone above and beyond for me - from securing an appointment on short notice to handling complicated billing issues. Her graceful approach makes stressful situations feel easy because she is there to help. She takes caring for their patients seriously, and is as lovely to deal with as she is gorgeous.

Literally, this is a team of BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WITH A LOT OF HEART & TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONALISM. I think it’s from their genuine care for their patients that they shine with a bright positivity & warmth that makes going to the dentist something that I, now, look forward to doing.

9/3/25 A couple of month past since my tooth extraction and yesterday the wait time for my second tooth extraction ended. Dr Gheddaf Dam and her assistant Claudia did everything to make this procedure as easy as possible. Anesthesia where I am always afraid to pass out, as it happened before (not in this office!) went smooth, so did the rest of the visit. After a restful day after the visit and a good night sleep, I woke up painfree No painkiller need - hurray! Hoping for a successful result of my next office in a week. Dr. Dam and Claudia a 5 star rating is well earned!

Prudential Dental Associates was recommended to me by Back Bay Dental Yesterday I received my new crown after I had a long procedure of bone crafting and implant. A day to celebrate? Yes! I might be one of the few people that like to go to the dentist office. As a kid, I loved to go to my parents dentist, because he always had one of these tiny exam mirrors for me. Since my arrival I had a dentist for about 30 years with whom I shared the love of classical music. He retired and now I ended up with Dr. Hamasat Ghedaff due to recommendations. I couldn't be luckier - starting with the friendly staff at the reception to the assistants and of course the professionalism of the doctor herself.. But that's not all. The environment that was created for all of them is simply wonderful starting with the color scheme and ending with tasteful artwork on the walls.

About a year ago I reported about my excellent experience this dental office. Unfortunately I had to see Dr Gheddaf Dam again today. This time, I knew that I am with an experienced practitioner. I went there without any dental anxiety. She and her terrific assistant Claudia know how to put their clients to peace even before a tooth extraction. I reminded her to go slow with anesthesia but she remembered from my last visit. I felt totally at ease with the procedure and got excellent after care instructions.
